Challenge
Compose a compelling story in exactly 100 words to the title: "One More Problem Solved."
One More Problem Solved
I look up and see the wide grin on your face,
The crooked teeth,
The breath that smells of onions and hatred.
I try to look away,
Squeeze my eyes shut,
Feel your rusted knife against my throat
As I let out a bloodcurdling scream.
It rips through the air as a
Warm drop of blood falls.
I dig my fingernails into your hand,
Whispering now,
Pleading,
PleasePleasePleasePleasePlease.
I will try harder, I promise,
Just give me another chance.
You smell my fear and drink it in,
And you whisper back,
"Getting rid of you
Means one more problem solved."
