Knowledge
Knowledge is having something stored in your head that you are positive is true. Until you think about it more deeply. Knowledge is something that can be used for or against us. Knowledge is our anchor, what we are taught to seek, what is drilled into us to find, from the time we are toddlers, at preschool. Knowledge is the base of our world. Without "knowledge," what would we know? Without the knowledge of communication, how would society function? Without knowing that green means "go" and red means "stop," how would we live safely? But how will we live if we think we know everything? That the sky is the limit? There have been people on the moon. That the Mona Lisa is true art, and other people's isn't? Who decides what is true, and why? Knowledge is what you have figured out during you time in the world. Knowledge should be flexible, should be ever changing, and interchangeable. Knowledge shouldn't be something only the fortunate have, or that one person decides is correct. Who says that the sky is blue? What if the people who are supposedly colorblind are he only ones of us who can actually see the world in its true colors? What if the rest of us can't see a color correctly? What if we're judging people based on facts that aren't true, and we can't confirm? What if knowledge is a curse, a weakness? What then?
