Love Needs No Words
Richard, a young gentleman in pleasant attire reserved a table for two at a nice little resaraunt, sitting down and twiddling his thumb with slight impatience and anxiety.
Young lady named Thia in a red dress approaches, giving the boy a greeting and warm smile.
Richard exchanges and awkward and quivering grin.
Richard quickly gets up, almost tripping over his own feet as he makes his way to the other side of the table to pull out the chair, trying to be a gentleman for his date.
Thia gratefully nods to him and sits down.
The boy pushes the girl’s to the table and make his way back to his seat.
A waiter brings a basket of breadsticks and a bottle of wine, placing them on the table.
Thia goes to pick up the bottle.
Richard unconsciously places his hand on hers.
They both look up at the same time.
Richard blushes beet red with embarrassment and hesitantly recoils his hand.
He gives the same awkward smile and picks up the bottle to pour them both a glass.
Thia smiles at his thought of kindness.
Richard fumbles with the bottle, finally opening it and pouring the two of them a glass with unsettle hands.
He hands the his cheerful date a glass as she nods off to him.
They toast and take sips of their wine.
Richard spills some wine on his suit, gasping in both horror and embarrassment.
Richard sobs a no., but he bumps the table, on acausing wine to spill onto his date’s lovely dress.
She gasps not in horror, but in genuine surprise.
Richard is too ashamed to even apologize, running out of the restaurant.
Richard sobs on a par bench under a street light.
A hands rests on his shoulder.
He turns his head.
Thia smiles at him.
Richard looks at her, slightly confused to the reason of her smile as he stands up.
This hugs the boy tightly, Richard hesitantly hugging back at first.
They break from the hug.
Thia pecks him on the cheek.
Richard blushes and and gives that familiar awkward smile.
Thia giggles.
She waves to him goodbye.
Richard waves.
They part...for now.
End.
