Inspiration
I want to write till my fingers are worn...but my heart cannot find the passion.
What do I do?
What do I write?
It feels the passion. But...where is it? It is hiding...hiding in my heart where no one else can see.
I must find it.
Once I do, I must hold onto it. It could be gone...out sight. Like a startled wild rabbit.
"Do not worry, little rabbit...do not be afraid.
I do not wish to harm you."
Find your inspration...
Find your wild rabbit.
Your eyes have always shined
Like those diamonds in the sky
So big and bright
More beautiful than any constilation
Take my hand
And we'll go on a trip
With the milkyway as our guidance
And the planets and our compass
I look at you
The way a child with their new telescope
Looks up at a lively sky
Full of magnificent asteral bodies
We could explore beyond the mikly way
And search through the great beyond
Or we could stay close to home
And fly to the moon
Enjoying and glorious view of our solar sytem
Just you and me
Just for you
(I wrote this myself :P. It’s to my bro)
Hey Big brother, how ya doin today?
I wanna let you know you’re special in every way
And I promise to love you to the end
Cuz you know that you’re my special friend
There’s nothing in this world that can separate us
And I’m singin’ you this song because
People like you
Make my world so much brighter
You take my gloomy eyes
And you make them lighter
I hope you feel the same way too
Cuz I made this song just for you
(break)
Wait, you know somethin’? 'Bout a year ago
The fateful day is when our friendship started to grow
You make my sun rise, you make my bluebirds sing
In my eyes, you’re worth more than a diamond ring
When we are together, no force will ever break us
And you know I’m singing you this song because
People like you
Make my world so much brighter
You take my gloomy eyes
And you make them lighter
I hope you feel the same way too
Cuz I made this song just for you
(break)
I can’t imagine you not in my life
Before I had met ya...my heart was filled with strife
And the message that I hope to pass...before this song through
Is that you will understand...that I love you
People like you
Make my world so much brighter
You take my gloomy eyes
And you make them lighter
I hope you feel the same way too
Cuz I made this song just for...it’s for you!
You complete my world, yeah, there’s no denyin’
And I look into your eyes, like stars, I see them shinin’
I hope you feel the same way too
Cuz this song was made for you
Cuz this song was made for you
I hope you feel the same way too
I made this song just for you
Love Needs No Words
Richard, a young gentleman in pleasant attire reserved a table for two at a nice little resaraunt, sitting down and twiddling his thumb with slight impatience and anxiety.
Young lady named Thia in a red dress approaches, giving the boy a greeting and warm smile.
Richard exchanges and awkward and quivering grin.
Richard quickly gets up, almost tripping over his own feet as he makes his way to the other side of the table to pull out the chair, trying to be a gentleman for his date.
Thia gratefully nods to him and sits down.
The boy pushes the girl’s to the table and make his way back to his seat.
A waiter brings a basket of breadsticks and a bottle of wine, placing them on the table.
Thia goes to pick up the bottle.
Richard unconsciously places his hand on hers.
They both look up at the same time.
Richard blushes beet red with embarrassment and hesitantly recoils his hand.
He gives the same awkward smile and picks up the bottle to pour them both a glass.
Thia smiles at his thought of kindness.
Richard fumbles with the bottle, finally opening it and pouring the two of them a glass with unsettle hands.
He hands the his cheerful date a glass as she nods off to him.
They toast and take sips of their wine.
Richard spills some wine on his suit, gasping in both horror and embarrassment.
Richard sobs a no., but he bumps the table, on acausing wine to spill onto his date’s lovely dress.
She gasps not in horror, but in genuine surprise.
Richard is too ashamed to even apologize, running out of the restaurant.
Richard sobs on a par bench under a street light.
A hands rests on his shoulder.
He turns his head.
Thia smiles at him.
Richard looks at her, slightly confused to the reason of her smile as he stands up.
This hugs the boy tightly, Richard hesitantly hugging back at first.
They break from the hug.
Thia pecks him on the cheek.
Richard blushes and and gives that familiar awkward smile.
Thia giggles.
She waves to him goodbye.
Richard waves.
They part...for now.
End.
The Pain is Worth It
Love hurts
That is true
But in my eyes
The pain is worth it
The overwhelming emotions
That surge through me
Burn with the fire
Of a thousand flames
A thousand flames?
That’s not right
My heart suffers impalement
From the shards
Of a thousand shattered souls
Yes
That seems right
My heart
My soul
In the sea of moods
And feelings
Will they sink?
Will they float?
They cannot decide
I can not decide
Will I be glass
And shatter
at the slighted tap?
Will a be a brick wall
And not let emotions in
Or out?
They expect me
To choose a side
What will it be?
What will it be?
I choose to be neither
I share my heart
With who I love
I take their pain
As if it were my own
I keep my head up
I stand strong
The weight of the world
Will not stop me from flying
I have a reason
To move on
To smile
To live
As long as my kin soars
So will I
Love hurts
That is true
But in my eyes
The pain is worth it
Persistence of Memory
Memories, we all have them
They fill our minds
They make us human
A treasure that we admire
All our memories vary
Some are vivid
They stick like glue
To the backs of our minds
We have the faders
They are there for the moment
But are gone like a whisper
And we have the lingerers
They melt away
As time goes by
But it’s still there
You may forget when
Forget why
Forget how
But it’s still there
It sticks
It stretches
It bends and distorts
There could be
An ocean of memory
Or maybe just a trickle
It is there
It may be strange
And even peculiar
But it is normal
It is not sorcery
Nor is it bizarre
It is just the persistence of memory
