If I had know you would have done this,

as everyone else does.

I probably wouldn't have said yes,

I would've left it as it was.

Things were good. I was fine.

I didn't need you.

But here you came, and

Broke my heart in two.

You weren't trying to,

To do anything;

That's what killed my heart.

I did everything.

I wished you sweet dreams, kissed you goodnights.

I dressed up in lace and wore jeans like tights.

And you said nothing.

If I had known you'd were going to toss me aside,

Then perhaps, I could hold onto my pride.
