Something Makes Me Smile

What made me smile, you ask? Well, that one is touchy, but I shall answer it properly. A long time ago, I had a friend that... well, was perfect in her own way. I thought she was a fallen angel like me, who had fell all the way down and below the ground. I smiled at her and she smiled back. I walked over to her and I didn't know exactly how to start a conversation with her. She said, 'Hello, dear. Do you know how to get to the Devil's place?'

I said, 'Hello, madam. Yes, I do because I am the Devil himself. What do you need, madam?'

'I need a place to stay until the human's leave. Can I stay with you for awhile?'

I answered with an 'Of course. What is your name?'

She had the perfect voice also. She answered, 'Golden Fame.'

'Are you famous or just wanted?'

'Funny you should ask, Devil. I am Famously known for my lovely golden scales... I mean golden horns.'

'Come on into my home.'

Well, she followed me into my home and it took us a few months to get to know each other. After that, we ended up being friends and yet she kept smiling while I worked.

How did such a beautiful, young lady have such a positive attitude all the time? Well, she was always happy when I was around. She always made me happy too. We dated for a long time and then we got engaged. Not even a month went by, before she was killed in my home by a human. I got so furious that no one shall come to my home no more. She will never, NEVER, be replaced by anyone else. Now, please leave.
