Behind “her mask”

A new mask is worn by her each and every day,

Unknowingly it carves a piece of herself out along the way

Superiority amongst one another

It is merely an illusion

We are each different yet also strangely the same

But still knowing this,

Lurking there is an recurring event of undoubtedly fear.

Underneath that mask lies,

Hiding her true authenticity

Even though her masks irritate her skin, she can’t relax and be herself, she still can’t help but resist the change
