Fancy Feast.
Though you might find it difficult to find the words that bring out the correct expression on your feelings, the correct reflection as to the depth of those particular feelings, and the correct inflection to cause them to relate to another, you should absolutely find the time to make writing a hobby. Writing is a beautiful release for your mind, beyond the escapes promised you by anything you spend your currency on, be it drugs, vacations, or a meeting with your psychologist. The analogy I've found most fitting for writing is cooking and I believe you'll see the sense in it very swiftly.
When cooking, do you only set things up and anticipate that the items will come together to display themselves akin to a 5 star dinner ? If you do I imagine you might be wearing a straight jacket as you wear this. I digress, you tend to each of the meal's necessary cooking needs, meat needs to be thawed, tenderized, and cooked all the way through , whereas noodles need to be boiled, stirred, and tested to ensure that their texture is not stiff. Your mind is a dish waiting to be served, thought it needn't be public or for others, it must be tended to in an effort to present it's absolute best form. A mind that is without writing but thinking can be just as the picture above : a pot of a chocolate or fudge (which is delicious) but just staying hot, bubbling, boiling, and crashing over the pot from which it was prepped, synonymous with your emotional, physical, and psychological reactions to thoughts left cooking.
You are a chef in the kitchen and your brain is your greatest contribution to yourself and to your fellow human, a great mind is one that is tended to at the precise time it needs it. A sub-par mind chef will allow thoughts to boil over, stagnate, and eventually crust over the rest of their being for others only to wonder on, whilst twiddling thumbs in hopes of change introduced by the outside world. The only thing that happens to food chefs that happen to practice the latter approach is that they lose their kitchen, position, staff, and what have you, you stand to lose so much more because people can only read so much of you before they have to assume there's nothing further to gander.
No two minds are alike, albeit there are stunning similarities as there are billions of us, you truly shine, a star unmatched. Will you be a superstar with your written words initially or will you fall flat to others eyes? Either way, are not important and there's a reason that can be taken from another, far simpler quote ,"One cannot love others until they've truly learned to love themself." You only love yourself when you know your needs and wants and agree to invest in them accordingly ; writing needs to be an item you partake in so that your mind isn't neglected.
Now off you go, clean your tools, wash your hands, dawn your garb and prepare for us a feast of the eyes, and when you do : Make damn sure it pleases yours like chocolate to the palate.
