Ode to cats

Feline terror, slitted pupils,

Claws that pierce as needles,

Liquid movement,

Tails raised proudly,

Watch you, haunting,

Hunted you , dismembered.

Lions ,

Tigers,

Crouch as you do,

Waiting for a pounce to come.
