What hope looks like

Hope is a field of sunflowers,

Pulling back velvet curtains of darkness

Our lights are now luminously shining

After we have clawed our way out of the darkness

Hope is a smile to a family, friend or stranger

Donating our service, filling up the plate

Hope is the equality and Democracy we bring to the world

Hope is reaching all the way down,

Deep into the earth for nature’s advantage

The sparrows and bluebirds will sing once again

Hope is holding hands with community

Standing together in the rain
