When I am compassionate,

I am whole

Unconditional love is the honey

Poured over biter plants

This love isn’t always

Guaranteed without pain

But if you promise

To stay with me in my imperfections,

A better future we’ll gain

Rise from the roaring fire

Like a Phoenix

Challenge what you thought you knew

Empathy grows like lavender and buttercups
