Polite God of War

My full name is Mark Edward Ewing.

For an African American male it is not the most typical name.

Mark, as far as I know has roots in Hebrew and Latin. In Hebrew it means Polite, it fits because I try to be. For the Latin origin however it is derived from the word 'Mart-Kos'. Which means "Consecrated to the God of Mars", "God of War", and/or "To be warlike". I find this amusing because I'm a Libra-Scorpio Cusp so my ruling planets are Venus/Aphrodite the Goddess of Love and Pluto/Hades the God of the Underworld. Both, are very far from being war like.

Edward, from what I know is derived from Spanish. Roughy if I remember correctly the meaning of the name means 'Rich Guardian'. Which I feel adds a nice air to the entirety of my name.

Ewing, I've done deep research for this because last names kind of mean more than everything else. They give a bit of a glimpse of your heritage. Mine just seems to be Irish and Scottish. Ewing came from the Gaelic personal name 'Eógann', and that seemed to have came from the Latin word 'Eugenius' which means "well born" or "noble".

I find my name to be interesting, and equally if not more complicated than I am.
