Excerpt 2
"Do you remember? Do you remember the things we felt?" His right hand ran alongside her cheek, and she shuddered at his touch. "Do you remember the sparks we felt when we kissed? Do you remember staying up late at night talking?"
He leaned in closer, so close that his lips were at her ear.
Then he whispered:
"Do you remember the heat you felt when I touched your hand?" His voice was a low whisper, but it was loud enough for Alice to hear.
Alice was speechless. There was nothing she could think of to say, or that she could say. There were no words she could speak, and no actions she could take to get away from him. Alice was officially stuck.
"I- I- I-" She stammered, looking down at her feet.
The thing is, Alice did remember everything. Every first touch to every last kiss.
His hand found hers, and she could not hide the warmth she felt emerge from it, heating up her entire body and his signature smell of grass and cherry blossoms took over her nose. It was a wonderful, intoxicating scent.
