Every Day Is Day One
I've been keeping my eye on the prize more often than not, what did I do today to take me 1 step further to where I want to be in life? It’s a question I ask and answer every day and at times it’s not what I want to hear. Leslie Brown once said, “If you do what is easy your life will be hard, if you do what is hard your life will be easy." I take that into consideration when I tackle each day with the frothy will to make changes and realized that I am even more willing to put myself into compromising situations. Its fight or flight and that’s when the magic of our true selves comes through. Sprinting through the week to get to the weekend nullifies our purpose and recognizing things can change is what we really hope for. Knowing that I am on the right path to pursue my passions fills my heart with gratitude and putting in the work always pays off. Every morning is a chance to clean the slate and influence ourselves with positivity because every day is day one.
