Every Day Is Day One
I've been keeping my eye on the prize more often than not, what did I do today to take me 1 step further to where I want to be in life? It’s a question I ask and answer every day and at times it’s not what I want to hear. Leslie Brown once said, “If you do what is easy your life will be hard, if you do what is hard your life will be easy." I take that into consideration when I tackle each day with the frothy will to make changes and realized that I am even more willing to put myself into compromising situations. Its fight or flight and that’s when the magic of our true selves comes through. Sprinting through the week to get to the weekend nullifies our purpose and recognizing things can change is what we really hope for. Knowing that I am on the right path to pursue my passions fills my heart with gratitude and putting in the work always pays off. Every morning is a chance to clean the slate and influence ourselves with positivity because every day is day one.
Feeding the Beast
We awake every morning to the sound of our thudding feet to the ground
The tremors resonating through our very slippery selves wondering if this
Routine shall last and to what purpose.
Our demise is in the belief of what is and not the what ifs, the normalcy of
Stability is overrated in the sense that our creative expressions are purchased
In full weight of the possessive world of materialism.
Our dreams at times are shouldered on these temporary means to an end
While the road work to our passions seem to stairway in the outer stratosphere of
the universe
Visualizing, Believing, Dreaming, and putting an incredible amount of effort into what we believe is our true purpose in life is the only way to calm the beast that roars within us
All we have to do is take that leap...
Whats up everyone
I just joined this weekend and I happened to stumble across this site. I felt like my writing started to loose its spark blogging about the situations I have lived through. This site seems refreshing and fun to be apart of. Looking forward cutting loose and not taking writing so serious. Peace out
Grind
Lets get back to the Grind
No excuses nothing less then
Excellence. No reason to settle
for the necessary when all we
strive for, die for is unquenchable
divine. Why do we sit and hope
that one day some asshole with a
wand appears to tap us on the head
and gives us three wishes. This inst
the price is right or some other
regurgitation of altered illusions of what
people want or even hope for. Put that
work in. What do you want? What are your
passions? If you cant even answer that
whats the point. For the Grind is only
worth it when the shits for real and it yours
so own up to it.
