“Broke Fridays”

"Broke Fridays" always lead up to more...

In the end there will be something special in-store...

So for now I say good bye to any excess spending...

Stick to my plan, for there will be no cheating, no bending...

Like Fridays when I steal a little deserved time away...

Bush Garden bound or Daytona Beach for the fam and me to play...

Cruising in the evenings out to eat with my sons... 

Catching a late night movie never stressing about the funds...

Life is not easy but we work hard for our family...

And this time around the year we all buckle down financially...

The way we pull together never ceases to amaze me... 

Just to enjoy each other, be loved, feel home, feel free...

I guess "Broke Fridays" still make me smile when I think of the Holidays to come...

All the fam and friends from different places, all the food, drinks and fun...

With life and all the worldly hurt and pain...

Nothing feels better than the thought of being around all my loved ones again...
