Ella

She smiled, a crooked smile, as she heard the screams and wails from the courtyard. Her stepsisters and stepmother were being dragged from the palace and being sent to the dungeon.

They cried, and they kicked. They pleaded and screamed. But the guards didn’t care. No one did. And that made Ella smile even more. She finally got rid of them. She was finally free and married to a rich handsome prince, whom, she soon would get rid of next.

All throughout the kingdom, it was believed that “Cinderella’s” Stepfamily were pure evil. It was believed that the tortured the poor girl every day. But see that is simply not true. The evil one, was in fact, Ella. She tortured them for years. They weren’t her real family, after all, so she did as she pleased. Surprisingly, they forgave her, not that Ella cared for anything they did, but it was surprising nonetheless. They never even decided to tell her now husband how awful she was, but she feared they one day might.’

So she sent them to their end.

As she turned away from her window a little blue bird flew in. “Nice to see you again Lily.” Ella cooed. The bird flew and landed on Ella’s bed frame and stared. She walked towards the small creature and patted her softly. The screaming from her sisters became a faint noise in the background as she stared at the bird.

“Next, I shall take over the entire kingdom, one by one. Starting with the King.”
