It makes me curious. I want to be around this person. I want to be absorbed by their aura.

Why hasn’t their aura faded in the crowd?

Just like countless others?

It’s been so long

Yet

It is only the foundation

The seed was nourished

The seed received care

The seed grew into a bud

Yet

So much more to go

Even if it dies

It was still alive

For another time

It will allow another to survive

I’ve never felt like this for this long.

I wonder how long it will last.

It’s happened before,

on and off.

If you know what I mean.

I’m learning to handle it better at least.

I washed the dishes

I swept the floor

The clothes are clean and put away

It’s only 9:00 am

I have dreams I want to reach

Books I want to read

Places I want to experience

Yet I lay down

Doing nothing

I have the time,

Though

Cold ocean water.

The waves drive up shore

The water hasn't reached me

The water won't reach me.

The waves seem calm.

I have time.

Head?

Empty.

Water?

Getting closer and closer.

It's ok.

It always ends up ok.
