I have no idea who wrote it. But I thought this was the most beautiful prayer I had ever read. So I memorized it and repeat it every night to bring me peace and sweet dreams.

Change scatters across the floor

As clothes are thrown

And torn

Frenzied passion

Bites

Tracing lines and curves

There is no beeping clock, no screaming mum, no rubbish truck on the road. No annoying car alarms, or barking dog, or meowing cat at your door.

You just wake when your body finally decides yes, that's it, I've had enough, and now it's time to get up and start living all over again.
