Take a stanza from your favorite poet/artist and then write your own stanza, and ask your readers to compare the two, explaining why they liked one over the other. Test your mettle against famous writers or artists, if you dare! Don't give away who the other author is, nor which stanza is your own! BTW, tag me so I can see and weigh in on your entries!

Create a character from scratch, incorporating at least one detail from yourself. Don't reveal what that aspect is, but make the character relatable. Write a short story of five hundred to five thousand words, showing how the personality traits you have given your character is emotionally and/or physically destructive to themselves or others around them. Try and evoke some emotional response in your reader, be it anger, pity, or sorrow.
