The author.
It started with words.
The gorgeous fonts of your books
made my skin and soul melt,
how could I get jealous over print?
Then I met you,
and what was left from the willing pillage,
you stole the rest of my heart.
I keep waiting, my fingers on the screen
imaginary kisses on the glass surface,
Such unique views of reality,
whetting my appetite for bantering,
Without knowing, the magic of your stories
stay inside my body, warming it up,
hypnotizing my mind to the point
I couldn't imagine life without you.
I am always here waiting.
When will you see past the leather covers
and look into my face?
Will you ever see me and that I'm in love with you?
Initial D.
One by one, they kept on telling me
To see what all the fuss was about.
I looked at his smug expression,
Irritated beyond belief.
I can’t learn anything from such a character.
“No, you have to try. Watch this guy and you’ll understand.”
Flashing = Do you want a card? I don’t think I’ll need it.
Holding the steering wheel, I tilted my head in apathy. Just do it and get over it.
“Stop your self control…” the song pumped inside of me,
until it took hold of my whole body.
You want to make it to the end, honey.
Locked in place,
Pressing the accelerator.
Don’t be left behind.
You know how to turn, damn it!
Taunting me in a language I was just learning.
He talks too fast, but that voice. Oh…wow...
It’s just a computer, why are you excited?
Feeling the heat, the apex was approaching,
“What? Did you say to drift???”
I lost and a sweat drop went down my face
as I bit my lip.
“What’s that guy’s name again?”
“Takahashi Ryousuke.”
I bought a card for this dangerous machine
called “Initial D”.
Years later, it still feels like the first time
we battled. *wink*
Kitsune.
Long hair,
Glasses,
Slender,
Hidden playfulness
In a single smile.
I picked her out in a
Cacophony, crowded with many tongues
Bird cages,
And shadowed narrow streets.
Pretending like I knew the ropes
Though she was the one
I believed in love at first sight.
She giggled at all my jokes,
Wore anything and nothing,
Still looking delicious and innocent.
I loved her
Even when she forgot me
In between my letters, flowers,
And other memories.
Even now, it’s true.
With all we can.
Children who hug without conditions,
Adults who keep their dreams
No matter the hardships,
Older people giving advice to
Instill their vivacity into the next generation.
Reading human hearts
Watching acts of kindness
Laughing with friends
That breeze coming through my heart
Telling me that I am doing exactly
What my whole being can grow from…
Smiles and words
From the people
Who loved me with
All they could give this world.
I’m not perfect,
But it’s good
Because everyone and I
Can work together
To support one another
in finding all the possibilities
that this world has to offer.
