Diamonds
There was once a girl. She was kind with a heart of gold. Diamond blue eyes and brunette hair.
She then met this man. Wooden eyes and a black heart.
They never fell in love, but they got married. Then they had a daughter. Blonde little girl with diamond eyes and heart, like her mother. Sensitive.
The man never knew his own strangth. Always hurt the mother and daughter. Never remembering it.
When the girl was 7 years old, the mother ran from the man. Divorce.
The daughter shared time with both parents. The dad abused her greatly, putting her in the hospital for suicide.
Thats when th man with a heart as black as night, relized...
He has been slowly killing this young girl, only 13.
The mother looked down a the daughter snapped at him, nodding. Everything the girl said was true..
The man swore he would get better.
Lie.
He swore he would stop drugs.
Lie.
He swore he would check on the girl and talk to her more.
Lie.
Lie.
Lie.
Lie.
The mother said that she would take care of the girl more and make sure she feels loved, That her and her new husband would make sure she is safe.
True.
True.
The woman with a heart of gold had a daughter with a heart of diamond.
They think alike. Talk alike.
They do everything alike.
The stepdad. Eyes of the moon in the night sky. Heart of gold like the mother.
Has a thing for music like the daughter.
Has a thing for reading like the mother.
Is always there for moth through the nightmares.
He is like the mother.
He is like the daughter.
He is not like the father.
And thats a good thing.
This girl
Theres this girl.
Shes gorgeous but doesnt see it.
Dark brown almost black hair.
Favorite color blue.
Her eyes are brown.
She thinks their boring, but their so captivating.
Whenever I dare look into them, I can barely look away.
It pains me so so much to see them wet or filled with pain...
Not only her outside, but her inside is gorgeous.
Kind but not a doormat.
Caring, maybe a little too much.
Shes like a fireball, blazing and shining.
Everyone notices her, can’t help it.
Everyone knows her because she makes herself known.
Her touch is amazing.
You could be panicing and she hugs you,
everything melts away.
Its an amazing feeling...
She loves kids, wants her own someday.
She doesnt like crowds too much, but neither do I.
She knows what its like to be alone so she ties her best to make sure nobody else feels that way.
Even though she has had a hard life,
shes one of the strongest people I know.
Im so so lucky to have her in my life...
And I plan on never losing her.
“Ready?”
"Are you ready son?" I asked my son at the gates of the caste. I was nervous as was he.
"Yes, I am." He said, smiling up at me. I nodded and smiled more as we walked to the town square. I was shaking in my shoes, but oh well. He was confident in our plan.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" I exclamed out into the square. I smiled at them as they gave their attention to me, my fiary red hair swaying in the wind. "It is with great sorrow that I procounce that...my own son will be put to death by handing." I said, teary. The town cheered. They had never liked my son because of the way he acted, and it saddened me greatly.
The gaurds took my son to the Hanging Tree, setting up a rope with him handcuffed. It broke me in two...
I watched as my son went to the latter and put the rope around his neck, looking saddened. Its almost time...
As they were about to push th latter down, I burst into flames. I set the tree aflame because I was so close to it as my son jumped down.
"Now!" I yelled, putting myself out as we ran. We ran into the forest, nobody following because they were busy with the tree. I smiled as we ran farther and farther and farther. We ended up in a new village where nobody knew us.
The truth is...we hated being royal. It was a thankless job after all. It was no fun and we hated it as the reat of our family always had. Now, we could live as common folk and be in peace...
Me and my little boy.
