The Peculiar Tale of Sad Decrepitina
I'd like you to reveal the backstory of this acerbic septuagenarian to the rest of us. All we know of her is that she never takes a sick day, commands, never asks, and rules the front desk with an iron fist. She's not changed her go-to teased-to-the-heavens bouffant and sky blue eye shadow in the last 50 years, and her Malibu Barbie frosted pink lip is dissolving into the creases around her mouth. What ever happened to her to make her this way? Flash fiction or any length of poetry acceptable. Including the element of suspension of belief is a big bonus. Tag me, if you wish, for maximum visibility. #decrepitina

Micropoem challenge. In 10 lines, 50 words, show your adoration for a particularly juicy, well-turned, artfully, sculpted, astonishing part of the anatomy. There are legs, bums, and lovely downy breasts, folks, but there are also yummy surprises, say, upon the clavicle, or along the bridge of the nose. Delight me. Tag me. #davidaintgotnothinonyou

Remember the supreme sexiness of crafting me ditties about laundry, taxes and going to the dentist? Well, damn--this is going to be a bit boring by comparison. Write me a sweet, neat love poem or story set in the most maudlin or repulsive of situations or settings. Tag me in the comments, please. #loveamongstthestench

I'm curious to try out poetic form called doha. It is Hindi in origin and a self-contained (rhyming?) couplet, traditionally spiritual or sensual in nature. Each line is 24 syllables w/ a caesura (break) in between the first 13 syllables and the last 11 syllables. I THINK there's no limit to number of couplets. Confused enough yet? I know I am, so I'd love to see what cleverness Prosers come up with. Let's call it a #loosedoha. Pixie points for anyone who can do a sortha (inverted doha).

A-White-Elephant-Exchange-Challenge-of-Sorts. Pick a discarded, worn out or unusable idea you've had for a story or poem and re-gift it to someone you know can breath new life into it! In the comments, tag the person along with the idea you are giving them. That person then has the option of completing the challenge and creating a new topic for someone else...or re-gifting the idea! I'll issue out the first topic and we may go from there. Cats are strange. Maybe they really are aliens! Make up a story of the beginning of the Cat Story Here on Earth while also uncovering the mystery behind these strange phenomena: Stonehenge, Loch Ness, crop circles, the Weeping Virgin, or something of your choosing. The kitties have to figure somewhere in these odd occurrences, don't you think? Any genre will do. Tag me in the comments, please. #StrangeCatsAreHappeningToMe

I purchased an eensy, impish little booklet on the history of the limerick and now my brain is re-enamoured of it! Write me, if you please, an elegant or saucy or precocious or cheeky or downright salty limerick about one of the following: 1) this crrrazy year, 2016, 2) anatomy (the limerick's always obvious choice!), 3) your special talent, 4) pet peeves, or 5) a location, pick any location! Ok, go, go, go. Make me proud and don't forget to TAG ME in the comments. #limericksarefun
