Writing
It's my drug of choice. Well, one of the healthiest ones, I should say. I have others - you know, the usuals of sugar, Netflix, comic books, games, socialization, etc.
Yet trapped in my prison cell during the past year writing is the drug that saved me.
Maybe writing isn't a drug - maybe writing is actually a cure?
The Aesthete Smile of Love
So I don’t do this often, you know. I write poetry, becuase it makes sense to me but I found something which I couldn’t describe in any other way.
Let me tell you, everybody smiles (also, everybody wants to rule the world, but that’s a different story.), okay, so everybody smiles, and I don’t know how to decribe this, but some smiles are pure poetry. You know? There are people in this world who, when they smile, is beautiful and poetic all and of itself. It’s like how John Green aptly stated:
“That smile could end wars and cure cancer.”
-and theirs could. You may not know who I’m talking about, but you know what I’m talking about. When I saw them smile, I thought to myself, I would do anything to see that smile for the rest of my life. For it was fleeting yet never ending in its infinity.
I never acutally believed in all this, in the cliché I just stated. Those which make immortal fools out of love, and darkned souls out of hurt. However, when I saw their smile, all of that went out of the window, and for a moment, all the clichés made sense, just as poetry always does, and I was just another immortal fool.
So perhaps that is love, it its simplest yet ever deepening form.
ochre
i’m lying on the couch, fearful of dying sanity. engulfed in spicy leather.
aching memories have left bruises that stain blue to this day. they sting when my mind traces their outlines.
my hungry hands search, but there are no more cigarettes to be smoked. the thirsty throat burns, but there is nothing left to drink.
postponed dialogues leave scars, but no matter, there are no words left to be spoken. i once fashioned a river of odes to you. it has run dry.
i let the sun descend and breathe thoughts to be condemned.

Business Attire
Last night I showered
In his three piece suit
Water cascaded over Italian cashmere
Sliding into a 120 thread count
Montblanc cufflinks shone bright reflecting
Arrogance that danced across the tile walls
Notched lapels drooped over
And egyptian wool shoulder pads filled heavy to the brim
I tilted my head back
Jagged laughter rose from my throat
I let my mouth fill with water
And lazilly drooled it down
Like a bubbling crab
Over his favorite Hermès tie
And once pride lay saturated on my frame
I suctioned flat against the bottom of the tub
Inhaled the fumes of uptight pretentious bastardization
And let the water beat me in the face
Steam pruned my fingertips
Before the Parker pen in his breast pocket
Leaked out across a chest with arms of 100% cotton
Half asleep I watched it bleed
Wicking at fibers hungrily with capillary action
I’d been hollowed.

Writing tips
Hi everyone! So some of you know that I had made a challenge of writing tips. I am thrilled to say that I found a ton of brilliant advice. So now I am going to share the things I have learned from those dozen of people, and things I have picked up! Enjoy!
1) Write down everything and anything about your plot and characters
2) Have a specific day/time when you write! This really helps.
3) When stuck on a scene, put in who what where when why
4) Proofread each page you finish, that way you don't have a mound of editing waiting for you to put off
5) Read other authors (other than your favorites) to spark ideas
6) Rewrite!
7) Ask prose!
8) Try to write down other ideas
9) Or Combine them!
10) Write character backstories
11) I plan out little scenes, then connect the dots
12) Listen to music at the mood of your scene
13) Make a cup of tea/coffee
14) Write in a notebook first, then transfer it into a writing software
15) Set a word minimum
16) Set a goal and don't break it for a certain amount of days
17) Where UVEX glasses
18) Write somewhere from 5-10 pages a day
19) I didn't realize this but 5 pages a day, you end up writing 150 pages in a month! Now thats some progress! If you can keep that up you could write a 300 paged novel in 2 MONTHS! but that is hard to keep up!
20) Find a new cool writing softwere! It will keep you interested and writing!
Hope this is helpful!!!
Angel Boy
Pretty smiles mess my heart up
Your crooked goofy grin is still the worst I ever touched
I wash my hands a million times
Tryna get your cooties off my mind
My walls got tired of hearing your name
Every song I wrote about you always ends the same
Cause I'll always twist it to your side
In your lies I reminisce
In your short comings I abide
Your halo was a collar
White wings were such a bother
Angel boy
You whisper that you miss me
White lies that taste like whiskey
Angel boy
I wish I could get over
Your influence on my shoulder
Too long I have been blinded by your light
Angel, you don't look so good in white
