My Universe
Her words were like little stars, exotically blinking and reaching towards me.
They were like comets, streaking and mesmerising. Beautiful and momentarily bright. They were like supernovas, exploding and obliterating anything else.
They were like meteorites, fast and furious. Agressive but so damn transfixing.
They were like black holes, where you don’t notice you can’t escape until it’s too late.
She was like space, deadly and silently. A galaxy, constantly evolving and changing. Unapologetically herself and flying to corners of existance you didn’t think could be there. She created this universe for herself.
She already had one, but somehow took another. She was the center of mine, too.

the stars blinking in the darkness,
shedding traces of light on the littered ground,
tell me:
“when you gaze up longingly into the night sky,
someone somewhere, is looking at the same patch of space,
the same cluster of stars.
and a total stranger mimics the sparkle in your eyes.”
“that’s wonderful,”
i whisper back.
“the black blanket connects us,
no matter how far we are from one another.”
My Beautiful Moon
When I look at you,
It's like looking at the moon itself.
There's so much about you that's unknown.
And the more I learn about you,
The more you seem to surprise me.
You have your...uh...phases...
BUT
They are all blindingly beautiful.
You're surrounded in darkness,
And yet with a little sunshine,
You light up the night sky.
And so, my beautiful moon, may I be your sunshine?
Final Breath of a Dying Star
Her knees kiss the earth
as her calloused yet gentle hands
rips open her white shirt
exposing her vulnerable foundation.
Heavy breaths coat the night
soft whimpers escape her mouth.
It seems like too much
but it was hers to bear
and hers to release.
Rhythmic thumps and long sighs
under the chest
(this is what it feels like to hold cosmic light
in the veins and a heart exposed to gamma rays)
Warm tears paint the grass under her knees
as her heart chakra
opens…
Revealing the mark that has been birthed
throughout many lifetimes
just to die to
seed the galaxy
(she carries it well)
A pulsating white light
forces out of her chest
towards the graveyard of orbs in the night sky.
A scream echoes
and a beautiful pain
vibrates the earth.
Her love illuminating the galaxy

Time
(the final breath of a dying star).
star girl
the vast, vast sky
reminds me that i am nothing but
a small piece of a much larger picture
pretending that the moon chases after me some nights
and resting beneath the suns benevolent smile
i’ll leave this world
but you’ll find me in the one above you
try to trace the curve of my body in the cluster of stars
some have died already but
even in death, they carry out their duty still
winking and watching over you
as i join them in their place
above the sky
look up and wave to me
don't worry, i'll remember to
wave back.
Without Cosmos
-Without chaos, I see the cosmos.
In my second of peace, I cherish it.
I find myself among the stars,
I never think about how far away they are.
Around me I see the cosmos
-In that second, I feel free.
My mind simply forgets everything.
And I see no universe, but instead the cosmos,
Until reality comes crashing back at me
-Without chaos, I see the cosmos, I live with it,
And I find myself without reality.
I find myself in peaceful empty bliss, only faint colors and sound.
They suround me far away to keep me company
-In that second, I feel free,
Until the sky comes crashing down on me,
And I once again have to live through the universe
Unorderly and with chaos.
-Without chaos I see cosmos
In that second of peace.
I shall wait till the unverse leaves,
And until cosmos comes back to me.
