Somewhere In Columbus, Ohio
A tall man jumped out from behind a clump of bushes from the side of Mackinaw Road. At one time it was a hundred-mile stretch of blacktop that used to be a trail that would lead you from Columbus to Cincinnati back in the day. Almost seventy years ago, three large sinkholes ended that idea. Now, if it’s used for anything, it’s either to bring a date there to make out with or dump your trash.
In this case, Johnny “Baby Boy” Jackson, just finished making out with a chubby sixteen-year-old girl who begged and pleaded with him not to hurt her.
Johnny had snatched her from a bus station in Columbus, punched her in the mouth to shut her up until he got to Mackinaw Road.
He kept his promise not to hurt her after he raped her brutally. To Johnny, sex isn’t brutal, sex is all about feeling good, and when he gets rough; to him, that feels wonderful.
But he kept his promise not to hurt her anymore. He broke her neck.
In a notebook in his car, he wrote her name down: Natalie. 16. Number 41. The first one? Ellaine Mae Jackson. 62.
His mother.

This is a portion of Book Five, Part Nine, Raging Evils, which will be posted sometime by the end of this year. Currently, I have already posted Book One, Evil X Three, parts one thru three, and soon to finish Book Two, Binding Evil, parts four and five within the next two weeks.
And for the record, what I write, although fiction, there are people out in the world just like Johnny "Baby Boy" Jackson, as well as other characters I have written about. In truth, reality and fiction becomes the epicenter of turmoil, greed and horor, and somewhere in the mix, a little love and some laughter can be found.
Just not today.
Niramitra
“Niramitra is sweet, mother!” Deera snarled at her mother in the kitchen as Niramitra sat in the living room with her father.
“So, Niramitra. You love my daughter?” Drago, Deera’s father, asked as he stared down at Niramitra.
“Y-Yes, sir.” Niramitra answered as he fidgeted with his hands.
“I am going to give you only one warning. You hurt or even break my little girl’s heart, I will end you myself.” Drago snarled as he furrowed his brow angrily.
"Yes, sir. I understand very well, sir." Niramitra said as they noticed Deera and Lavender walked out of the kitchen.
Niramitra stood up and smiled as he took Deera's hand. He kissed her hand as she smiled with glee. Her mother frowned and her father glared as the couple walked out the front door. They ran off toward a cave in the mountains and he disappeared within the dark shadows within.
"Come on in, Queen Deera." Niramitra said as the cave entry lit up.
Deera walked in and saw a kitchen with cabinets that were destroyed to splinters and some that had doors hanging from the hinges. Deera looked around as she heard growling to her left. She looked toward her left to see a set of bars that held a creature same as her but smaller. It growled and disappeared within the shadows. They lived together for the next couple of weeks before something... actually, someone entered her life.
"I see you found the next experiment." A woman said as she stepped out of the shadows beside Niramitra.
"Who is she, Nira?" Deera asked as she stepped away from the cabinets.
"Yeah, Niramitra. Who is this measly young thing?" She asked as Niramitra smiled his wild grin.
"Jill, this is Deera or you can call her DF-92." He said as he grabbed her left hand and stuck it under a branding machine.
The red hot metal blazed as it came down upon the back of her hand and singed the skin as screamed. They lifted the branding metal and Deera snatched her hand away as she fell to the floor. Her hand burned without a doubt in the world. She stood up with tears in her eyes, and ran out of the cave as quickly as she could. Deera ran away as Niramitra and Jill watched her from the entrance of the cave.
Trashy Use of Power
"Hand over your wallet, and whatever else you have in your pocket, or else." The mugger threatened the pedestrian, pointing a gun at his victim. The mugger's face was hidden by a Swiper The Fox ski mask.
"Ok, just don't shoot." The nervous businessman replied. "If I say 'Swiper no swiping,' would that stop you?"
"No talking, just hand stuff over!" The mugger impatiently exclaimed, not amused by the businessman's Dora The Explorer reference. The businessman produced his wallet, smartphone, and car keys. Under his mask the mugger smiled.
"Very good, a nice haul indeed." The mugger said out loud to himself before addressing the businessman again. "Now unlock that smartphone and clear your data while you're at it."
"DON'T BOTHER!" A high pitched voice yelled.
The businessman and mugger turned to see a dumpster approaching them. It looked like the average dumpster that would belong in a city like the one where this story is happening. However, this dumpster had a face, arms and legs.
"The name is Doug, Doug the Dumpster!" The dumpster said. "You can call me Doug though!"
The mugger pointed his gun at the dumpster.
"This is probably a hallucination, but you still won't stop me!" The mugger exclaimed, firing his gun multiple times at Doug.
The bullets were lodged into the dumpster, but caused no harm to Doug.
"Ok, time to throw you out!" Doug cried, grabbing the mugger and tossing him into his dumpster body. A moment later Doug burped.
"That was tasty." Doug said, smiling. "I will take your belongings now."
"What, you weren't rescuing me?" The horrified businessman asked.
"Never said I would." Doug responded. "Now hand those items over, unless you want me to eat you too."

A figure whose body was completely hidden by a cloak stood in a nearby alley, when Doug the Dumpster strolled towards him.
"I stole the items from that businessman like you told me to boss, and then I gave them to a civilian to turn in to the Police." Doug reported. "But master Lifer, why did you bring me to life to steal and then return what I took?"
"Simple my newborn friend." Lifer replied in his gravelly voice. "I am still getting used to my powers of bringing non-living things to life. I wanted to see if I could bring something to life, have it commit a crime, then do something heroic right afterwards. And you my friend, proved that I could."
"Well, congratulations I guess!" Doug responded. "What should I do now?"
"Whatever you desire, it is your life now Doug." Lifer answered. "Have a nice one, I am off to do more tests with my powers."
