Promise to...
If i had to witness chefs cook up my ex-fiance's wedding meal. Theres no hesitation that I would walk right down, grab an apron and ask where I can help, after all, it didnt work out for a reason. And them getting married is just an extra precaution layer to ensure I don't make the same mistake twice. I will even offer to cater.
The Ring on the Plate
You were there at the top of a building one day, as you had always been for years. You looked at the night sky, amazed at the moon and the stars as if it was the first time you saw them. And down below the building, you saw chefs frantically preparing dinner, with one you heard, "Hey, would you please hurry up?"
And then you remembered: your ex-fiance and his wife's wedding was today, and as if it was some coincidence, held the reception at the building you were standing on. You looked below again, and after some thinking, you dropped your ring from the top of the building. You knew the kitchen was open-air, and you were glad when you heard your ring landed on a plate.
You didn't know it, but at the reception, your ring luckily landed on the plate of your ex-fiance's wife. And when the wife saw the ring while she was eating, your ex-fiance knew whose ring was that, but was intrigued on how the ring ended up on his wife's plate.
