Summer’s sweet perfume,

Wafting lazily,

Tastes the waters,

And dances through blossomed branches,

Like a lover’s silky breath upon my fingertips.

Halcyon glow,

Caresses scintillating glass,

While cerulean skies soar

From scarlet passion

To indigo depths.

Ancient stars

Smolder in twilight,

Effervescent,

As the city gently sighs.

Sweet Memory.

I curl up in my hoodie 

With blankets and tea.

Outside, wet and bleak

Inside, warm for me.

I pull out my laptop

And I start surfing the Net.

Bark, woof

I see my furry pet.

He curls up next to me,

My sweet boy.

Bark, woof

Bringing me joy.

The first step, 

all of the sounds hit me

like a thousand invisible raindrops.

The birds in the trees,

the deer creeping in the distance.

I walk further.

The forest consumes me and

I'm transported into another world

that fills me with euphoria.

I'm at peace.

Warm greetings 

Tight embraces and kisses on cheeks

Catch ups and new jokes are told 

Than debates having their valleys and peaks

Finally the dinner is served 

Which everyone devours 

Than the games come out
