Queer
Red, orange, yellow
Green, blue, purple
It's just love
Not immoral
Colors so pretty
Showing off pride
Showing freedom
No more needing to hide
Who are you to say
Who I can love?
I doubt they mind
In the world above
Here's a not-so-secret secret;
I'm Bi
I'm serious
No lie
I've been attracted
To people of both sex
As long as I can remember
No more needed steps
I've dated people
Of both genders
Not getting offended
By the offenders
This is me
No joke
You can either accept it
Or go choke
Cuz this is important to me
No matter what y'all say
I am this way
And this way I will stay
We’re Not Broken
We're
broken,
they tell us,
trapped in small minds.
So if they knew
that we once thought the same
(and that some of us still do),
weeping and begging and wanting
to just, for once, be normal, (like them),
they would laugh and laugh and begin hunting.
But we're the furthest things from broken;
it's those people who need some mending -
those who will not hesitate to
make our lives a living hell.
So please do not worry,
my little siblings;
we are perfect,
and we are
queer; so,
live.
Colors
The world is not just black and white,
it's full of colors.
No matter the combination,
no matter if you close your eyes
its always there, in your dreams
I could list all the ways the colors can collide;
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple
purple, blue, and pink
yellow, pink, and blue
purple, black, grey, and white
red, yellow, black, and blue
blue, pink, and white
pink, blue, and green
green, purple, and white
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and white
black, pink, green, blue, and purple
grey, white, black, and green
However I doubt I caught them all.
One thing colors can give us all is life
and if all of us have life, we are all human
and if we are all human, than we are all equal.
People seem to forget that last part, but it's still very true
we are all equal in this world and
nothing changes from me to you.
