So, the earth is flat?
You claim the earth is flat...
I’ve got to say, I’m not sure about that.
I poured water in a bowl,
and truth to be told,
it stayed inside,
and did not roll.
When I put water on the counter
it fell and faltered,
waterfalled down a bit off-kilter.
Google says earth is 71% percent water,
and though I don’t claim to be smarter,
it seems we’d run out of water pretty quick,
cause it’d fall right off the brink.
We’d have nothing left to even drink,
so maybe it’s not quite as you think.
Me, personally?
I'd ask them what could be gained by such a conspiracy?
If they brought up NASA I'd explain in no uncertain terms that NASA didn't exist a hundred years ago and yet people still knew.... Not believed, but KNEW that the earth was a globe.
Even the ancient greeks worked out the circumference of the earth over two thousand years ago. Now, in twenty first century we have people who refuse to believe anything scientists tell them.
Discard science? That means no medicine, no technology, no civilisation beyond a few others like them who herd goat and live in mud huts or tents.
I'd tell them to stop being hypocrites. They're quite happy to accept the fruits of science if it benefits them and then chuck everything else back in scientists faces claiming they're all part of the conspiracy.
Frankly, these idiots are an insult to modernity and humanity itself.

I Headed East
In the year of ’94
I left old England’s shore
to sail for evermore
I headed East
Through the storms of Biscayne bay
Past Portugal and Spain
to The mediterran I came
I headed East
Onto Egypt’s Port Said
and the canal that man has made
amongst Arab world I sailed
and headed East
Sri Lanka and Malaysia passed me by
Christmas Island I saw on high
to Australias Southern Bight
I headed East
On Japan’s Serene shore
I dallied a month or more
then into the Pacific Sea once more
I headed East
To Pannama I came
to the canal of Million graves
Then Carribeans bountiful isles
and headed East
The whales they sang to me
my home I would soon see
Across the Atlantic sea
if I headed East
This world I’ve sailed all round
no circumfence I found
by heading out I’m Homeward bound
I headed East
