Don’t know why I miss you
I would be lying if I said I didn't miss you. Everytime we look at pictures or talk about all the things we did together I hear this nagging voice in the back of my head saying, maybe things would be better... maybe we could be friends again... maybe, maybe, maybe. Those maybes will always haunt me because I gave you every part of me, told you things that I had never told anybody. I trusted in you so damn much and I gave you more chances than you deserved. Everytime you broke me down more and more, left me when I needed you the most. You caused me more pain than a best friend ever should and I just couldn't see that you didn't care about me. So I really have no idea why I miss you so much... I guess I just do.
Angels Among Us
Many years ago, humans, monsters and Angels got along nicely until the War. The Monsters accused the Humans of taking their Jewel of Lost Souls. The Angels came down from their cloud kingdom and tried to talk to the Monsters about it. The Monsters refused while pushing the angels aside and attacked the humans. The Angels ascended and planned their strategic war plan. They chose 4 leaders to lead. White Feather was the first one to be chosen to lead the group on the ground. Rainbow Wings was the second one chosen to lead those in the sky. Snow Speck was the third chosen to lead those on creatures of the sky and ground. Moon Dancer was the fourth one chosen to lead those from the sky and the ground. Armor was given to all of the angels to use in battle. The Queen Angel named Soren the White Snow Angel lead everyone into battle.
After years of fighting, the Monsters and Humans now ceased and many Angels were gone. Only a few stayed and looked out upon the land, covered with blood and bodies of the warriors that fought. The Angels decided to create the human race again and cleaned the land of all that happened. Once created, they decided to be invinsible to the human eye. Only those who believe in them can see them in dreams and sometimes in real life.
Only about 3 out of 5000 humans could see them and became Angels once they passed away. Those who didn't became Monsters when they passed away. The Monster population grew quicker than the Angels did. To maintain them, they slayed about 300 Monsters every month so they didn't overpopulate. Then, more Humans started to believe in Angels but half of the Human population hated Angels and became Angry Monsters.
Later, the humans stopped believing in Angels and the Monsters ended up on the land. The Angels descended and slayed the Monsters by thousands to millions a day. Then, a little girl saw one of the Angels walking past her house. The little girl squeeled and followed the Angel that had a broken wing. This Angel had rainbow wings that she kept folded, and a white tunic that had a gold buckle on it. She then felt a tug on her tunic and turned around. She smiled and bent down.
"What's up, kiddo?" She asked the little girl.
"I was wondewing if you could have suppa with my family." The little girl said with a smile and looked at the Angel.
"Thanks for the offer, kiddo. Sorry, though. I have to protect your world from evil." She said with a smile.
"Well, can you fly since you have wings?" The little girl asked as she looked at the Angels wings with curiousity.
"These old things? No, I can't, kiddo. One of them is broke and no one can heal it." The Angel said with sincere eyes.
The little girl smiled and ran towards home when an evil Monster came out of nowhere. The Angel sprinted past the little girl and killed it with one swing of her sword. The girl headed into her home and waved at the Angel.
"What's youw name?" The little girl asked before closing the door.
"My name? I was always called Rainbow Guardian." The Angel said with a smile.
"Thanks, Gauwdian. My name is Regina Hope." The little girl said as she smiled.
"Is it too late to take that dinner offer, Regina?" Rainbow Gaurdian asked.
Regina nodded her head no and smiled. Rainbow Gaurdian walked into her home and Regina closed the door. Regina ran to the living room and guided her parents to the front door entrance. They looked at Rainbow Gaurdian surprised. Rainbow Gaurdian smiled and stuck her hand out for it to be shaken. Regina's father shook it and guided her to the kitchen where the first aid kit was.
"No, sir. My wing is broke and a first aid kit isn't gonna help. Regina asked me to come to dinner with you guys." Rainbow Guardian said as Regina's mother came in with a blanket and a cast.
"You know, this is a first we have seen an actual Angel. Why aren't you up in the clouds, flying and why do you have a sword?" Regina's mother asked as she handed the blanket to Rainbow Gaurdian.
"I am down on the ground because my wing is broke. I have a sword because I kill the Evil Monsters that show up here on this land." Rainbow Gaurdian said with a smile.
"Well, is it alright if I take a look at your wing and see how bad the break is?" Regina's mom asked as she put a pot of water on.
"Hon... She's the guest and I bet she won't be able to pay for it." Regina's father said as Rainbow Guardian satrated laughing.
"It's fine. You can take a look and I can pay for it. One coin of this is equal to $350 here on this land." She said as she set a bag of Golden Angelic Coins on the table.
She opened her broken wing for Regina's mom to look at. Regina's mom looked at her wing and felt of the break. She looked, surprised as she felt of it again.
"How strange. Your wing is healed up. It's not broke at all." Regina's mom said as she put noodles into the pot.
Rainbow Gaurdian closed her wing and set 3 Angelic Coins on the table. She then, set the blanket onto the table and left the home. She opened her wings and flapped them, flying to the clouds. Mid-way there, she started falling and hit the ground hard. She looked up and started crying. She stood up and made her wings invisible to the naked eye of the human. She also hid her sword in the forest nearby. She now blended in with the human race. The other Angels down there, did the same.
The Angels in the sky knew who was who. They always kept a watchful eye for those Angels that Walk Among Us.
