Did you know...

That if you uncoiled the large and small intestines of an average person onto a tennis court...

You'd be arrested?

A Poem to those who saw me drowned and never moved

I watched your eyes—for any sign.

I watched your hands, legs, your movements—for any sign.

I watched—expecting a move forward; I'm drowning, and I'm waiting for you to make a move to save me.

Yet, you stood there; your eyes were blind or maybe they didn't see me. Didn't want to see me.

And the water continue to overwhelm me, choking me as it grabbed into its depths.

Let me tell you what's worse than drowning—it's when someone could save you but chose not to.

We are always watching, always waiting for someone to save us,

It's what my every move was for—the cries, the scream, the pleads—

For you to realize I needed you.

But you didn't. Or you didn't want to.

So I had to learn to swim,

Learn to float above this water,

Learn to survive in this mess I'm in.

I don't know what to feel about you,

Except to know that from the very start,

I never needed you,

And it was a feeling of freedom tinged with sadness,

For I would never know what it was like

To be saved by love and care.

And I would never know what it is like

To be responded to when I ask for help.

Guess

″’The representative from California has the floor”

Sieg Heil to the president gasman

Bombs away is your punishment

Pulverize the Eiffel towers

Who criticize your government

Bang bang goes the broken glass and

Kill all the fags that don’t agree

Trials by fire setting fire

Is not a way that’s meant for me

Just cause

Just cause

Because we’re outlaws yeah”

My Twisted Fairytale
I am pretty sure everyone must have read some fairytales. Right? Here is your chance to give your favourite fairytale a little twist, be creative, make it sad, horror or anything you want.
AlwaysOnMyMind

This ain’t Snow White’s story.

Once upon a time, there was a stunningly gorgeous, yet jealous Queen who ruled a kingdom. One day, she waited patiently in her palace bedroom until at long last, a servant entered, awkwardly carrying a heavy item wrapped in a burlap sack. The Queen carefully pulled back the burlap to uncover a heavy, ornate mirror. Once it hung on her wall, she peered into it, asking:

"Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"

After a long pause, the mirror replied, "Um...I...can't answer that."

Becoming slightly agitated, the Queen asked, "Why not?"

The mirror hesitated before responding. "Well, what kind of pretty are you looking for? I've seen some hot princesses if royalty is what you're after. There was that redhead, that Norwegian chick who didn't mind lettin' it go, the Asian girl who liked dressing like a boy...I mean, what're you into?"

"In....into?" the Queen sputtered. "I just want to know who is the fairest!"

The mirror's voice took on an annoyed tone. "That's not really my thing. Head back to the market - there's a magazine there that lists the most beautiful people every year. It changes, though, so who knows if it's reliable?"

Infuriated, the Queen shot back, "I spent good money on you! You were supposed to tell me that I am more beautiful than my stepdaughter!"

"Ah, so that's what this is about," the mirror said. "Listen lady, if you're so insecure that you have to talk to mirrors and hate on other girls instead of appreciating your own uniqueness, then your problem is way more than skin deep."

Crestfallen, the Queen finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. "Then what do I do?"

The mirror's tone softened a little. "Stop staring at me hoping someone else stares back at you. Appreciate you, and forget the rest."

Which is exactly what the Queen did - except for that one time of year that magazine published a new list of beauties. That day was reserved for ice cream and sweatpants.

Abortion

Being a male, I don't care about abortion. Whatever a female decides, she decides. That shouldn't have a limitation on what she can do with her body.

Happy Place

My Ideal Happy place.

That's a hard one.

I suppose it would be a place where I wouldn't have to worry about being judged.

A place where I don't have to worry about my anxiety and depression.

A place where my friends don't have to worry about that.

A place where my friends can come and go.

A friend of mine has a concept like that.

I keep trying to make one.

It doesn't matter.

My ideal happy place would have perfect weather, and it would be literally as simple as it gets. That, would be my ideal happy place.

Flowing Springs

Where crystal beads

descend the crown;

snow feeding

springtime’s vision

and

on pine needles,

elk lie down

’til morning sun has risen.

Where time is frozen,

heart content,

the moment —

all I need,

but striving for

my betterment,

preventing stagnancy.

Wicked Magician

Oh wicked magician,

Latest victim died at dawn,

For once she was there,

And next she was gone,

Oh wicked magician,

You perform on four stages,

The fourth being hopeless,

Death locked up in cages,

Oh wicked magician,

How beguiling your act,

Your tricks undetected,

Your surprise without tact,

Oh wicked magician,

How long is your show,

Two weeks, ten years,

Your intentions unknown,

Oh wicked magician,

What age is your unwilling volunteer,

Did he turn sixty seven,

Was she to turn three next year,

Oh wicked magician,

Your wand grants me no wishes,

Though it does make me dream,

I'd had time for more kisses,

Oh wicked magician,

We fight but you ruin that too,

Fighting is tethered to I.V. poles,

Told there's nothing we can do,

Oh wicked magician,

Up your sleeve lies a cure,

But you prefer martyr's,

Lined up at death's door,

Oh wicked magician,

Pickpocketing thief,

Stolen hair, lives, dreams,

Your pain bares all it's teeth,

Oh wicked magician,

Like your flowers, tumors grow,

Growing bills, growing saddness,

Growing to kill us, your foe,

Oh wicked magician,

I know one thing, your name,

Your name is Cancer,

No one wants you, but you came.
