Lights Off
What do you think of before you go to sleep?
For me, I tend to imagine and overthink things before I sleep. It is when I think of what ifs from the past, my worries of the present and afraidness of the future.
But it's not all that.
There is a point in my life where I am very excited to sleep because I will be able to dream, and to dream is to make things come true... even if it's in my imagination only. So prior to that, I will think of happy thoughts and the scenario I want to dream of.
Whether you think of happy or sad thoughts before you sleep, let your mind wander and we'll come to many realizations which may be good or bad. IT'S OKAY.
Always remember, you are the master of your own mind.

After graduating, I thought I had life figured out because life feels like a ladder- after you have reached this step then you proceed on the next one. Well, I did not expect that the "spaces between" those ladders will be a long, confusing journey.
College was hard but one thing that is different from the life after it is that you have a clear, end goal: graduating. You have something to hold on to and you are sure that you want to reach that no matter how long it takes. But what after that? What should you do next?
Being in the house for so long and having silent moments at midnight made me think of so many things. Should I just go with the flow or try something new while I still can? FYI, I don't like my college course so much as I am supposed to. I guess I realized what I really want to be later in life, but I also don't want my course to be wasted. So I am now confused if I should just continue looking for jobs related to my course or pursue the things that I really love?
For all of us who is confused on what path to take and afraid of what will we become as we grow old, cheers to us. This will bother us the moment we wake up, in between small and silent moments, and maybe before we go to sleep, but I think this is normal. We can be lost and unsure, but we will get there. We will find where we truly belong... and we will know it.
Overthinker and ambitious,

Unexpected Turn: Not a Good One
I can say this year is soooo much more than a rollercoaster ride. Aside from the ups, downs, and 360 degree loops, there are daggers and knives thrown at us while on the ride. This year may be a what-a-hassle year for some, but many people are actually dying and the cause is still out there- the Corona virus.
I believe this is a very essential time to be emphatic towards each other. If you can't be careful for yourself, please think of other people who might be affected by your "small actions".
Wear your masks and always sanitize. Help when you can but don't be guilty if you can't. Please take care of yourself, particularly on your mental health because it is very hard to not be able to hug your family and friends and to be afraid everytime you go outside.
Struggling in this pandemic like millions of people in the world,
