Frost upon the glass
Misty smoke from a morning chill
Rose from the protruding spire
And the sun, it broke, deep on the horizon
Awakening it’s renewed fire.
All along, upon my glass
sat crystal kisses of frost.
I stood and watched the day
Inch over what was lost
Oh, for the morning sung
It’s most beautiful, blissful song
Yet my eyes wandered to the glass
Knowing the time would soon be gone
For when the ice on the window,
Finally took to disappear,
It fell as the sun rose
A single iridescent tear.
At last I came to the realization
Watching the fractals fade away
I fought the clear drips of blood
The massacre from a new day.
hands on a haunted clock
they never tell you how a heart breaks,
the way the blood starts dripping down.
because if I’d have known the pain,
i would never had stayed around.
I see the parts of you too often,
in someone’s smile or the way they talk,
and my thoughts come back to you,
like hands on a midnight clock.
you see, I think I hear your voice,
behind every corner that I turn,
so you can imagine the shattering pieces,
when it’s your laugh i beg to unlearn.
they never tell you how a heart breaks,
the way my heart starts beating blue
suffocated by my swollen fingers,
which held on so tight to you.
I ran to distant corners,
to forget our fantazised dreams,
but now I see them in hollow mirrors,
and hear your whispers as ehoing screams.
it brought me to my knees,
when I passed a stranger along the way,
who smelled of your faint whiskey,
putting our favorite songs on replay.
they never tell you how a heart breaks,
or how its dies alone,
forgotten by past heartaches,
with no one to call it’s own.
So i guess that was a lie,
because if I got to chose once more,
I’d choose you a hundred times,
to fix the heart you tore.
But here I am now,
in this strange and unknown land,
and I wish on the stars for you,
for one last adventure to go unplanned.
so I hope you think of me,
and see me in everything you do
I think we’re stuck in a twisted mirror
because everywhere I look, there’s you.

house of cards
So I guess the story of us is a tragedy,
With dying roses, and faded scents.
Pages filled with all that we could be.
Haunted by the things it represents.
We were always destined to fail,
And destroy each other on the way down,
Brokenness hid by a sheer satin veil,
That sunk in the waters we drowned.
You thought me weak, I found you mean,
After the spar, we lowered our guards.
I made you a king, you called me a queen,
we lived in a fairytale house of cards.
I don’t mind the horrid tragedies,
The fatal flaws and battles alike,
But in ruinous times like these,
You took the time to strike.
The story of right person, wrong time,
And clashing blue and daring brown eyes,
You were my favorite crime,
In between the intricate web of lies.
We fought proxy wars and crashed our cars
until we both were black and blue
Then smiled beneath flickering stars
And painted ourselves anew.
I guess it depends where the story ends,
A heart wrenching or warming view,
So I say, before we finally descend -
I had the best time falling with you.
ivy ropes
withering ivy crawls,
Suffocating the cracks where once it grew
Hiding in the broken walls,
Dripping down, blooming like hearts anew.
But what you don’t know,
Is that the castle you see,
Was forged from blood long ago,
and all the stones they threw at me.
So you look down on the poison,
That brew from my jade hearts,
And frown at the meadows they moisten,
Only to strip me of my parts.
The world, my god, how they cry,
About the girl locked in the vines
But through alligator tears, they lie
And leave me in a hell of my own design.
But it’s no wonder my eyes went dull,
And everything I touch, I break,
so I used the ivy from cracks in my skull,
And you used the venom of a snake.
My skeleton scrapes the stone,
Waiting for the sun to hit my eyes,
I solemnly wait and take my throne,
You were a thief in a prince’s disguise.
So you used the knife in glee,
Merely a killer disguised as a gift
But darling, the dreamer in me,
She’s here, I swear she lived

all the things that love likes
Tell me about your hands,
faded scars that look like stars,
from haunting, distant lands,
with broken getaway cars.
You whisper as tears flow,
about haunted dreams and bursting seams
with nowhere left to go,
but back to your decaying regimes.
Even amid your silence,
are tolling bells and muted yells,
a heart that screams of violence
locked inside cast-iron cells.
so I fell in love with you,
your lightning strikes and daunting spikes,
and I know it must be true;
we abandon all the fancy things Love likes.
But holy hell what you admit,
Under the guise of velvet skies.
hopeless tries and sapphire eyes.
god, I’ve never met a storm quite like you.

starlight & fireflies
I saw your eyes light up, back when we were five.
starlight and fireflies, big books, a long drive.
My my, how time has been cruel,
granting me the desires of my dreams.
and now I stand, watching like a fool,
as my fantasy tears at its seams.
I suppose the things we fought to do,
like sleepovers under summer stars,
become old and we yearn for something new,
rusted bikes left behind for shiny cars.
The cups that once held soda and juice,
now hold your way out of reality,
I think that's why it's easier to abuse,
becuase in the darkness lies obscurity.
He touched you, and you felt fire,
and you could only wish for more,
Then he morphed into a liar.
and left love behind a closed door.
Your eyes forgot to light up,
when you talked about the life you want.
one of touches and beer in an empty cup,
to quiet the bitter voices and thier taunt.
All my friends go out and get drunk,
and fall asleep with unknown men.
it's not even thier fault they sunk,
waiting for peace, but wondering when.
It's just... my cup still carries juice,
and I still pour over my books,
or maybe that just my excuse,
because I'm scared of how life looks.
I miss us wishing for more,
red lips and smokey eyes,
but our facade slowly tore,
and the spark quietly dies.
I still remember us in the backyard,
with scraped knees from an oak tree.
and god, I know this is hard,
but please don't grow up without me.
Skinny :(
You've got to stay skinny, don't you, girl?
You've got to stay pretty while you can
You've got to stay hungrier for the fans
You know we are living in a fucked up world
And they'll try to burn you all up
The WORLD/SOCIAL MEDIA: Your face is rotten
Ugliest smile I have seen
Your name's forgotten
Now go on and cut yourself clean
Why won't you answer?
You think you're better than me
Go on, surrender

The short, seemingly young girl giggled. It wasn't a normal giggle, though. It was that of terrifing intentions.
"You wanna know a secret?" She asked, slipping the ceramic knife from it's holster on her thigh as she approached the tied down man. She slinked about the chair he was in, the 4 foot tall programming pausing behind him to whisper. "I was made to fight off viruses, essentially I'd eat them- But honestly-" She dropped her voice, making it seductively sweet. "I prefer human hearts."
She giggled that same giggle as she rounded her now even more terrified victom. She stood in front of the man, sliding her knife down the left side of his torso, shoulder to lower rib cage before slicing him horizontally.
The man screamed against his bonds and gag, tears streaking down his cheeks as he felt her search for the rapidly beating organ with a tiny hand. "Good night!" She said cheerily, yanking it from his chest.
The Great Equalizer
I'm the guy that laughs at inappropriate times,
Like a wedding, funeral, or tragedy.
Not because I am a sadist or uncaring,
I just can't help but laugh at the irony.
When one takes themselves too seriously,
I find it kinda funny.
Laughter is the great equalizer,
That mocks the broke and those with too much money.
