National Haiku Day was April 17th ... the object of course - write a Haiku!
A Haiku is usually about nature and beauty as well as all things natural -- It is three lines long and the syllables run as such 5 - 7 - 5 ... give this your best shot and be sure to tag me in the comment box as @Danceinsilence, otherwise I may end up missing a good read. I have shortened the normal deadline of 30 days to 14. There will be a Haiku Sensei Award.

The "Ukiah"
The traditional Haiku is written standard 5 - 7 - 5 syllables, but what if your dyscalculia led you to accidentally mix that up and write 7 - 5- 7 syllables instead?
"Haiku" backwards turns out to be "Ukiah" - a Native American term meaning "deep valley".
Share your own "deep valley" of inspiration, thoughts or wisdom. There are never any losers, only those who miss out on fun challenges!
Haiku Challenge - They say: No guts, no glory. Do you have it in you to do this one? How concise can you make history?
This ain’t no ordinary Haiku, Prosers. I have listed six events in history. Pick one and do the best Haiku possible.
They are Caesar, death of Elvis and the telephone. Man on the Moon landing, the Nuclear Bomb and Jonas Salk/ Polio Vaccine.Pick one then do a Haiku, three lines, 5-7-5 (syllables worth of words).
Because it must be a minimum of 15 words, you can place hashtags under your work if need be ... I will choose the winner and remember to tag me only in the comment box as: @Danceinsilence.

Okay, you know the drill. A Halloween themed Haiku 5-7-5 syllables per line, plus or minus. The challenge nazis won’t allow fewer than 15 words, but with 17 syllables, it would be hard to reach even that number, so fill it with another haiku if you like, or some interesting background. Have fun! Happy Halloween!!!
Haiku time ... write one using the word "Whisper" as your title ... and tag me!
To make up for the difference to get past the fifteen words if necessary, put something below it.
