kisses wrapped in silent cold nights

wilted roses 

broken pieces of your heart 

left on sheet covers 

glass slippers left on staircases 

and the prince makes a profit on it 

the path to love is rocky 

but when you find it will feel just like this 

bodies emerged into a world where nothing matters 

only to learn they can't exist
