Challenge
You receive an unusual email message. It is a letter from one of the mistakes you’ve made last year, which has come to life. Write what your mistake wrote to you. Prose or poetry, any form.
Blame
You may have been given a small window of time,
Perhaps the blame is not yours,
But why did you hold back,
You may not have know how you felt,
Perhaps the blame is time,
Still
Why did you hold back,
You may have felt odd about what he said,
Perhaps the blame is his,
But
You held back,
You
could have let go of fear,
You
could have opened your mouth,
He
inspired you to be brave,
You
held back,
Perhaps the blame is yours
and you carry the guilt.
