Optimistic Outlook

The hardest thing about life

might just be

hoping for something and

getting disappointed when

it doesn't happen;

loving someone

and getting heartbroken

when they don't feel

the same as you do;

And caring or suffering by

means of sacrificing for

others and they don't happen

to appreciate what you've

done for them or continually do.

Hard circumstances often

come by positive virtues.

Yes, I, just like

everyone else I feel, have

experienced them,

sometimes emotionally

damaging for sure. They can

ache but I ponder

where would we be without

them? Would life be better

lived without...

No. I think however much they hurt, life without these virtues

would be much too depressing,

so mustering courage to be

optimistic, let's press on!
