Tidal Waves
She lays deep under water
Suffocating and grasping for air
The waves rolling over her, over and over
The blue abyss trapping her inside
She manages to open her ebony eyes,
contrast to the vivid blue
She sees the surface, out of her reach
She grasps and grasps to no avail
So she slowly sinks down to the bottom,
her long hair brushes the brittle sand
She closes her eyes and falls,
falls into the dream of the tide
