Chapter 1: The Mission
"Everybody fan out! He's getting closer! Cece, on his right. Terri, get his left. The rest of you make sure they have backup." Jason whispered into his earpiece. I kept my eye on my target, not wanting to lose him. I was on a mission and had to complete it, no questions asked. If we didn't complete a mission, lets just say we won't be able to complete our lives either if you know what I mean. My target moved closer to my hiding place.
"Terri, he's getting closer to you. When he takes one more step, take him out." Jason orders me.
He took one more step.
I jumped up from my hiding place, ran up the boxes that were in my way, and flipped in the air, landing on my targets neck. I squeezed my thighs together, blocking his airway. He dug his nails into my thighs, gasping, trying to get air back into his system. Not happening. I did a cartwheel and slammed his body into the ground, twisting my legs and snapping his neck, hearing a satisfying crunch. I felt for his pulse. There was none. Perfect. I put my hand up and signaled to the others that the coast was clear. They came out, circling the area making sure that our target didn't have any lurking friends around.
Cece was the first to get to me.
"Great job Terri! That maneuver was epic! You need to teach me that one!" she squealed, helping me up from the ground. I chuckled, dusting myself off and straightening my clothes.
"Don't worry Cece, we have plenty of time." I answered.
While the group looked for whatever they came for, I sat on the boxes to rest and catch my breath. I've been doing this for practically my whole life. Since I was seven years. My father was killed around the time he first started training me. He trained me to never fear, never give up, never feel sympathy for the enemy, and never, ever fall in love. He was killed because of his love for my mom, and she was killed the day after my dad. I will never forget those days. I went crazy and hunted down the people responsible for my parents death. When I found them, I couldn't fight them because I was seven and they were grown adults.
So instead of killing them, I killed their trainees in my fury. I felt no sympathy like my dad taught me, and ran for my life. A crew called The Troublemakers happened to be there around the same time on a mission and saw my destruction. I didn't know it was my fathers crew, so when they approached me I was scared for my life. One of them had recognized me and the leader was so surprised at my abilities at such a young age that he took me in as his own and personally trained me along side of his son, Jason. I've been with this crew ever since. They are my family.
"Hey Terri snap out of it and let's go!" Cece yelled, cleaning up the evidence of us being here. Once she was done, we all went our separate ways, satisfied with the mission for the day.
When I arrived at my apartment, I took a cold shower and threw on a tank top and some shorts. As I was going down the stairs, there was a knock at my door. I froze. I wasn't expecting anyone. I silently walked down the rest of the way and made my way to the door, grabbing a gun out of the couch on the way. When I made it to the door, I counted to three and unlocked the door.
The doorknob turned slowly, and the door swung open.
With lightening reflexes, my gun was up and pointed at the persons head.
"WAIT WAIT! STOP! TERRI IT'S ME!" the person yelled, shielding his face.
Ugh. Of course. Jason.
I put my hand down, putting the safety back and sighed.
"Really Jason, you know better than knocking at my door this late, especially since we completed a mission." He raised his hands as a sign of surrender, stepping into my apartment.
"I know, I know, I just wanted to see you that's all," he said as I closed the door and made my way to the kitchen.
"Whatever. You want something to eat?" I asked him, pulling out pasta and alfredo sauce out of my cabinets. "I'm about to whip up some- JASON!"
He grabbed me and pinned me against the counter. I tried to push him away from me.
"Get off Jason, I already told you I don't like you in that way!" I said, pushing on his chest. He stared into my eyes and smiled, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"I know Terri, but you should give me a chance. You may not like me but you sure are attracted to me." he said, sliding his hand in the curve of my back.
I scoffed. I am definitely NOT attracted to Jason, with his dreamy blue eyes, tousled brown hair, and perfect chiseled body.
Okay, he IS crazy attractive, but his attitude sucks. Plus he's like a brother to me. A very sexy, mouthwatering brother.
"Jason, I am not attracted to you. Get that out of your head." I tried to push him away again, but he caught my hands and pinned them above my head, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Oh really now, is that what you think? You better think again sweetheart." he said grinning.
I rolled my eyes and tugged at my arms.
"Whatever Jason, let go of me-"
He cut me off by gently pecking my lips, something he has never done, at all. Before I could say anything else, his lips moved to my neck. Oh no. Not my neck. My neck is my sensitive spot and is the only thing that will make me crumble in the arms of a guy.
I tried to suppress a moan as his lips traveled up and down my neck. No no no no no, this is wrong I need to stop this. But I couldn't. I was already sucked in. I tilted my head slightly to the side, wanting more. He continued planting kisses on my neck and traveled to my jaw, slightly nipping the edge causing my let out an embarrassing moan.
He chuckled, and stopped. Why is he stopping, that felt so good.
"You can open you eyes now Terri." he said laughing. I felt my face heating up and I pushed him off of me, leaving the kitchen and making my way to the door. I opened it and turned around, gesturing to Jason that he needed to leave.
He walked up to me, still laughing.
"Aw c'mon Terri don't be mad. I just proved that you found me attractive that's all."
"Shut up Jason and get out before I shoot you." I said in a frustrated tone.
"Alright alright, you win. I'll see you later sweetheart." he said, winking as he walked out the door.
I slammed the door on him and sighed, passing my hand over my face. I cannot deal with him and his childish ways. Shaking my head, I went back into the kitchen to finish cooking.

Chapter 2: The Mayors Son
I know that a mission assigned to me is very, very important when I get a phone call from THAT phone. The special phone. I call it, The Call. Well guess what?
I got The Call.
It was Jasons' father, Mr. Jason Long Sr. who called.
"Terralynn, I have a mission for you." he told me, calling me by my full first name. That's another indicator that the mission is extremely important. He calls me by my full first name.
"I'm listening."
"The mission will be your most dangerous mission yet, but you MUST succeed." he warned me.
I straightened up in my chair that I was sitting in and payed close attention. This must be pretty serious.
"Go on." I coaxed.
"Your mission is to kill the mayors son." My phone clattered on the floor. He was right. This will be hard. Harder than I thought.
"Terri! Terri! Are you there? What happened?" I hear Mr. Long demand into the phone. I snapped out of my daze and picked up my phone, placing it back to my ear.
"Yeah, yeah I'm here sorry. I dropped my phone." I said, palming my face.
"Alright. Like I was saying, this is going to be your most difficult mission you have ever had. You need to be educated about the mayor and his family. You need to know his son's schedule and where he is at all times. I will give you everything you need for this mission to be successful. But you will do the hardest part."
He paused, letting this information sink in.
"Come over right now so I can give you what you need and so that I can tell you the rest of your mission." He finished, and then hung up.
I just sat there, not knowing what to say. Kill the mayor's son? Do you know how hard that is going to be? Security around 24/7 and cameras all over. I sighed and went to get ready to go to Mr. Long's house.
**
I pulled up into his long driveway and got out of the car, admiring the mansion as I walked up to the door. I always do that, as many times as I have been here, I still admire the view.
I was about to knock on the door, but it swung open before I could. There stood a grinning Jason.
He pulled me into a bone crushing hug.
"Awww Terri! You came to see me!"
I struggled to get out of his embrace.
"Ew no why would I want to see you and let go of me." I grunted, pushing him off of me and fixing my clothes.
"I'm here to see your dad. Now if you would excuse me." I said, brushing past him and went into his fathers study. He was sitting in his chair behind his desk, fiddling with a small gadget.
I cleared my throat to get his attention. He looked up at me and placed the gadget on the desk.
"Ah, you made it. Let's get down to business shall we?" he said, getting up from his chair and walking to a box on the floor. He gestured for me to go next to him. I did, and when I got to his side, he opened the box. I had never seen so many gadgets in one place at the same time.
"These are some of the gadgets that you will need for your mission. Use them carefully and wisely. Remember your research Terri. That is very important. You MUST know everything about them or as much as possible." he said sternly, looking deep into my eyes with a hard stare.
"I won't fail you Mr. Long." I said, reassuring him. He nodded and walked back to his desk and sat down. I sat down in the chair on the other side of his desk. He clasped his hands together on top of his desk.
"You must understand Terri. We tried to do this same mission before many years ago, but the person assigned to the task failed. Our organization had to stay hidden for a while and decided to change up the whole strategy. Instead of a male getting close to him, we decided to pick a female. a beautiful female to seduce him and make him fall in love. Then when the right time comes, she will kill him."
I sat there trying not to leave my mouth open for too long. This mission was crazy! He continued.
"I decided to pick you because you are the best Terri. The best in the world. Now I trust you and believe in you and know that you will not fail me. You have three months to complete this mission. Once you complete it, you will get $100,000,000 as a reward. Go home now and start your research, and remember one of the most important rules. Do NOT in any circumstances catch feelings. Your mission starts now."
He gestured for me to leave and I jumped up, turned around, and ran out of the room with my box in my arms. I didn't want to waste any time at all and hurried out the front door and hopped in my car, speeding away.
I got to my apartment, and started up my laptop. I googled the name 'Mayor of California' and 20,000,000+ results popped up.
Whoa, this is going to be a long night.
***
Four hours later, I felt like my brain was going to explode. I kneeded my scalp to ease the tension and sighed. It was about 3:22 a.m. and there was still more info that I needed.
Here is the info that I do know.
The mayors name is Grant Austin. His son, my target, is Chandler Austin. The mayor is 52 or 53, the sources weren't clear and Chandler is 28 years old. His mother died when he was 15 and that was around the time he became a rebel.
Smoking, drinking, vandalism, etc. His father had to straighten him out and now he is the CEO of Austin enterprise. Grant has cancer, or so the sources say. They weren't really clear about that part either. Chandler supposedly has a girlfriend.
I groaned and dropped my face into my hands. Great. Now it's going to be even harder to seduce him. If he's loyal that is. Oh well, I'm just gonna have to come between them.
I decided that I've researched enough and prepared for bed. I layed in bed, thinking about what I want to accomplish tomorrow. I hacked Chandlers phone and computer and basically all his devices so I know that he will be in meetings all day.
I need to wear something sexy, I decided. First impressions matter of course. After that, I guess I'll just wing it.

Chapter 3: The Assistant
I woke up the next morning tired as crap. I trudged to the bathroom, taking a shower and getting ready. I took my suit out and put it on. Then I put on light makeup , red liquid lipstick and pinned my hair up in a professional bun, leaving some wisps out. Once I was done, I looked in the mirror and saw how the girly suit hugged my curves. The suit jacket was a little tight, making my boobs look bigger than usual. To sum all of that up, I looked sexy as hell. I reached down, grabbing my briefcase and black pumps and went downstairs, straight put the door and into my car. I didn't have time to eat breakfast because the first meeting was starting in five minutes.
Time to get to work.
I sped down the road, running through red lights, ignoring the honking and cursing from the angry drivers.
I just flicked them off.
It took me ten minutes to reach my destination. I jumped out of my 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost, fixing myself in my window. I took a deep breath, butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
"You can this." I told myself as I walked up to the huge building. I stopped and looked up at the sign.
Austin Enterprises.
"You MUST complete this mission."
I heard Mr. Longs voice in my head. I straightened my back and walked into the building with confidence.
The first thing I noticed when I walked into the building were the lights. Chandeliers were hanging off of almost every part of the ceiling. I looked around and saw the plush red walls and carpet. Velvet. Nice touch. It was a very beautiful building, but I was wasting time. Straight ahead, there was a receptionist sitting behind the desk. I walked towards her, and tapped the desk when I reached it.
She stopped typing and looked up, obviously irritated.
"What?" she snapped, looking me up and down like I was beneath her. I definitely don't have time for this. I leaned against the counter.
"Look here lady, I don't have time for your nasty ass attitude. Now if you would tell me which meeting Chandler is in that would be great." I snapped back, narrowing my eyes. Her eyes widened slightly as if she wasn't used to new people challenging her. Well she chose the wrong one to mess with. She looked back at her computer and typed something, then looked back up at me.
"He's in his first meeting right now, room 320, third floor." she said, still eyes me up and down through narrowed eyes.
I turned and walked away to the elevator, not even bothering with a thank you. She didn't deserve it. I reached the elevator and clicked the 'up' button.
Ding.
I stepped into the elevator, and saw that a man was already in there. The doors closed and he loked at me and smiled.
"Which floor miss?" he asked.
"Oh, number three please, thank you." I answered, smiling back. He clicked three and the elevator started moving. I noticed that he had on a burgundy top with brass buttons going through the middle of the top. He also had a matching hat and pants. Elevator man? Wow, fancy fancy.
Ding.
The elevator doors opened.
"Here's your floor miss..." he trailed off.
"Its Terri. Just call me Terri" I said, stepping out of the elevator.
"Alright miss Terri, have a great day." he said still smiling and slightly waved. I waved back and started walking through the hallways. There were so many doors and corners I got lost twice before I finally found room 320. I opened the door and stepped inside. About forty pairs of eyes glared at me.
Oops.
"Well don't just stand there. Come in and close the door." The man in the front of the room told me. He had gray hair that was neatly groomed and his face was clean shaven. He had piercing green eyes and was wearing a nicely pressed black suit. Grant Austin. He was pretty decent for a 52 or 53 year old man.
"Hello? Young lady did you not just hear what I said?" he asked, irritation creeping into his voice.
"Oh, sorry sir." I said, slightly embarrassed. I stepped in fully and closed the door. Looking around, I saw lots of old men and women. Except for one person.
Chandler Austin.
"Now what's your name young lady? And why are you here?" Grant asked me, raising an eyebrow.
"My name is Terri Daniels and I'm here...umm because uhh..." I couldn't get the proper words out of my mouth. Shit! I didn't plan for this to happen.
"She's my new assistant dad. I hired her yesterday." Chandler said in a bored tone, saving me from further embarrassment and suspicion. Grant nodded his head at me.
"Okay then, take a seat next to Chandler please Terri so that I can finish this meeting." I hurried to the empty seat and sat down. I peeked at Chandler from the corner of my eye. He had jet black hair that was slicked back with gel, and had piercing green eyes like his father. He wore a button down white shirt that hugged his body like a second skin. It took all my will power not to face him completely and take him all in.
Jesus Christ no one told me he looked this delicious in person.
I shook my head to get all these thoughts out of my head and tried to pay attention to whatever Grant was talking about.
Suddenly, I felt a hand grab my thigh. I looked up at Chandler with wide eyes and saw him smirk. He pulled me closer to him and leaned down to my ear.
"I never hired an assistant. I don't know who you are or why you are here, but I will find out." he whispered in my ear, squeezing my thigh even harder. I froze. Not good. Not good at all.
***
When the meeting was over, I hurried out of the office, hoping to get as far away as possible from Chandler right now. Of course I wasn't so lucky.
He pulled my arm and turned me around.
"Meet me in my office, 10th floor last door on the left. Now." he said glaring at me. I yanked my arm back.
"Fine." I said, walking to the elevator.
The elevator took me to the 10th floor and I walked past the secretary when she wasn't looking and slipped inside his office. He wasn't here yet. I sighed in relief and walked around the spacious office. On his desk were pictures of him and his father, his mother, and one of his girlfriend. Ugh. She needed to go in order for me to completely seduce Chandler. The less time it takes, the faster I get my money.
"Why are you touching my stuff?" I gasped, dropping the picture frame I had picked up of him and his girlfriend. I bent down and picked it up, placing it back on his desk. I twirled around and he started walking towards me. He kept coming and didn't stop until my back hit his desk and our chests were basically touching.
He leaned down and narrowed his eyes.
"Who are you and what the fuck do you want?" he asked, slamming his hands on the desk behind me, trapping me between his arms. I gulped. All of this was definitely not part of the plan. His biceps flexed as he gripped the desk. Man he has a bad attitude. I decided to calm him down.
"My name is Terri and I'm here to work for you Chandler, nothing more I swear. Stop being so paranoid." I said, placing my hands on his biceps, pushing him away. He moved back, sighing and rubbing his temples.
"Alright, I guess I believe you. I need an assistant anyway you have perfect timing." he told me as he walked behind his desk to the chair and sat down. Of course I do. "All of this work is already too much for me and I can't keep up with the simple things. So you will keep track of what I need to do, business wise like meetings and stuff and also my personal life. I hope you are proficient in what you do." he said, closing his eyes and groaned painfully, rubbing his neck.
He seemed really tense.
"Need a little massage Mr. Austin?" I asked, innocence laced in my voice. His eyes snapped open.
"Oh no, that's...it's okay, I'm-" I had already made my way to the back of his chair.
"Just let me work my magic Mr. Austin." I whispered in his ear.
I grabbed his shoulders and squeezed. He was so tense!
"Relax Chandler, just relax. Stop being so tense and just let go."
His shoulders slowly relaxed, and I began to massage his shoulders. I kneaded and rubbed slowly, releasing all the tension in his neck area.
"God, that feels so good." he moaned under his breath, leaning back into my hands. This is perfect, now I know how to get him relaxed. Let's see how far he's willing to let me go in his relaxed state. Only one way to find out.
My hands traveled down to his collar, and down to his first button. His hands flew up, ready to stop me.
"Trust me Chandler, I know what I'm doing. I know how to make you feel good." I whispered in his ear, grabbing his hands and placing them back into his lap. My hands went back to his first button and unbuttoned it. Then the second one, third one...
Once all of his buttons were unbuttoned, I went back to massaging his shoulders, letting his get comfortable again. When I was sure he was comfortable, I bent down and leaned into his back, hands trailing down his muscular torso. I heard his breath stop and he growled when my hands came back up, my nails leaving marks in its path, loving the feeling of his muscles flexing under my fingers.
"Terri stop. Don't start something you won't be able to finish." he choked out and started getting up. I pushed him back down, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and leaned forward.
"What if I do want to finish what I started, hmm?" I asked him, playfully nipping his ear in the process. I then pressed my lips to his neck and hummed, loving his reaction as the vibrations went down his body.
Suddenly, he stood up and faced me.
"I can't do this, I barely know you and I have a girlfriend, Stacy, and I love her" he said, running his hands through his hair. I slowly walked up to him and placed both hands on his bare chest.
"Stacy huh. You know you want me. I know you want to finish what I started. But we shall save that for later I guess." I stated, kind of disappointed. Maybe next time. Back to business. "We need to meet tonight to go over everything that I need to do and what you have planned for tomorrow." I told him.
"Alright, we can go to dinner tonight and discuss it while we eat. I'll pick you up at eight o'clock sharp." he said, buttoning up his shirt, sadly.
"Okay see you tonight Mr. Austin." I said as I walked to the door.
"It's Chandler. Not Mr. Austin." he corrected. I opened the door and turned around slightly.
"I'll only call you that in bed, Mr. Austin." I replied, winking.
I laughed when I heard him let out a frustrated groan as I walked away. This is gonna be a fun night.

Chapter 4: The Meetup
After leaving Austin Enterprise, I went straight home to continue my plot against Chandler. So far, I know that he loves massages and gets weak in the knees once he is relaxed. Also that he loves his girlfriend enough not to cheat on her, which is definitely a problem. I'm gonna have to get some dirt on her to get her out of the picture. Pronto. Oh another thing is that he is probably sexually frustrated if he got that weak from a simple touch, which could help me in the long run.
I sighed.
I just want to get this mission over with, I thought as I turned my laptop on. It shouldn't be that hard anyway.
For the next few hours, I researched everything I could about Chandler Austin, from his birth records, to his favorite food, which is mac and cheese by the way. Typical.
I was about to click on another link, when an email popped up. I opened up the email and saw that it was from Jason.
From: Jason Long Jr.
Subject: MISSION NOW
To:
Hey babe, we need you now for a quick mission so cancel whatever plans you have tonight. Make sure you are here by 8:00, or else...well you know. Their rules not mine. See you in a bit babe ;)
"No, no, no!" I yelled, slamming my laptop shut. I got up and ran up the stairs, glancing at the time. 7:45 p.m.
Shit.
I hurried and went through my closet, pulling out the uniform given to each member of The Troublemakers. An all black body suit that keeps us light on our feet without extra baggage.
On my way out the door, I grabbed my guns, strapped one in my ankle pocket and the other in my back pocket. The body suit hides my guns well, don't worry.
Jason had sent me directions to the hit site, so I got in my car and drove to the site. As I got closer to the site, the darker it got and the more trees I passed.
I reached my destination and parked few feet away from the actual site, something I was taught a long time ago. I got out of my car and made my way over to my crew. I saw them huddled over the map out of the plan and jogged over to Cece's side.
She looked up and smiled at me.
"You came just in time, Jason is going over the plan right now." she whispered, pointing to the map.
I listened to what Jason was saying.
"Nice of you to join us Terri." Jason said ginning. I rolled my eyes. He focused back on the map.
"Alright, as I was saying, our target is a guy that owes my dad a lot of money and some. He threatened to kill him, so we are gonna take him out and his body guards. My dad talked to him and told him to meet out here in the woods so that they can make a transaction. But our people who are undercover working for him, told us about his plan to kill my dad out here. Now he is bringing some muscle but I know that we won't fail this mission. Here, take these and put it in your ear."
He gave us all ear pieces and we put them in our ear.
"These are so that we can communicate with each other even when we are far away from each other. Connect it to your phone so that whenever it is in your ear, we can automatically talk to each other."
He paused, looking at all of us to confirm that we understand what he is talking about.
"Don't leave anyone alive. The targets name is Samuel Barnes and he is a blonde with blue eyes, big muscle, and a scar running down the right side of his face. He is number one priority. Okay, now lets all get in position and complete this mission."
We all ran to get in our positions. Mine was behind a boulder in the center of the woods. Cece was in a tree above me, and the rest of the crew were spread out behind trees, circling the area. Jason was the one meeting up with Samuel.
"Everyone be on guard, Samuel is here." Jason whispered into the earpiece.
I peeked around the boulder to see what was happening. I saw Samuel walk up to Jason with about seven or eight guys surrounding him. Samuel was about 6'5", 220 pounds of muscle. I saw the nasty scar on his face. It looked like his face was slashed by a knife, making his face have a permanent scowl.
"I see you have your puppy dogs following you everywhere, as usual." Jason mocked Samuel.
I saw Samuel chuckle, walking even closer to Jason.
"I thought I was meeting the boss, not his bastard." Samuel snapped back, giving him a cold stare.
"Well, change of plans. He sent me in his place. Now lets get this over with." Jason stated, turning around to walk back to our site.
Everything happened so fast. As soon as Jason turned around, I saw Samuel slightly flick his wrist, signaling to his crew. When they saw his signal, they pulled out their guns, spreading out and running in our direction. Samuel also pulled out his gun, but Jason didn't see because his back was turned.
"JASON GET DOWN!" I yelled, running out from behind the boulder, yanking my gun out its holster and aiming it at Samuel, shooting him in the arm.
"Ahh, fuck!" Samuel yelled, clutching his shoulder and running into the dark woods.
"Terri, go after him, I have to help the rest of the crew!" Jason yelled, running and shooting at one of Samuel's goons that was trying to choke one of our crew members.
I ran in the direction Samuel went, looking left and right, trying to spot him. I couldn't really see because it was dark and it didn't help that the trees were blocking any extra light that was trying to seep through.
I heard a rustle in the bush to my left and pointed my gun at it.
"Come out and show your face you coward!" I shouted, clutching my gun tightly.
I heard a chuckle come from the bush and Samuel emerged, hands raised in surrender.
"Ah, you must be the beautiful Terri that Senior used to always boast about. Too bad you are about to die, tsk, such a waste." he said, shaking his head and smiling wickedly.
"Me? About to die? I'm the one with the gun, not you so I think you better watch what you say or else." I said, trying to decide what was the best way to kill him.
"I think you need to be more aware of your surroundings instead of focusing so much on me little one." Samuel sneered. I took one step forward.
"What are you talk-AHH!" Someone hit me from behind.
I stumbled forward, losing my balance for a quick second. Once I regained it, I whipped my fist around, crushing the nose of the person behind me.
"AHHH FUCK! YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THAT YOU LITTLE BITCH!" One of Samuels men screamed at me. I didn't waste time replying.
While he clutched his nose, I smashed my gun into his temple, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. I stood over him while he writhed in pain and shot him twice. One in the head, and one in the heart.
He stopped moving.
I turned around and faced Samuel, who was watching everything that went down.
He started clapping and started smiling.
"Very good very good. I guess you are as talented as Senior says you are huh. Well lets see how good you are against me." He got into his stance and motioned at me with to fingers, coaxing me forward.
Of course, since I never turn down a fight, I lunged at him, preparing to knock him with my gun. As I was about to inflict pain on him, his arm came around, knocking my gun out of my hand and punched me in the stomach, causing me to clutch my stomach in pain.
I glared up at him as he charged and me and when he got close enough, I jumped up and slammed my feet into his chest, knocking him back. He flew backwards and collided with a tree, landing on the ground. I ran to the fallen Samuel and grabbed his head, then slammed it into the bark with all my might.
"AHHHHH!" He screamed in my ear, blood dripping down his hand as he swiped the back of his head.
He looked at me with wild eyes and grabbed my head, head butted me with a lot of force, making me land on my back. I gasped from the lack of air, clutching my head in pain. Blood dripped down the middle of my face and down to my lips.
My eyes widened when I saw the bloody Samuel charging after me. I frantically looked around for some type of weapon and saw my gun lying a few feet away from me. I crawled quickly to my gun, Samuel getting even closer to me.
When I reached my gun, I felt Samuel pull my leg, dragging me towards him.
"LET ME OF ME!" I screamed, clawing at the earth, getting dirt in my fingernails. He flipped me over and I looked up at him with wide eyes, my heart beating frantically in my chest. He smiled down at me, blood seeping through his teeth.
"Time to die now bitch." he cackled. I put my finger on the trigger of the gun. He saw me shift as I did that and looked back at me. He lunged for the gun and I screamed.
"NOOOO!" I squeezed my eyes together and pulled the trigger. I opened my eyes in time to see Samuels body falling towards me. I hurried and rolled out of the way and his body landed next to me with a load thump.
I slowly got up, and stood over him, wiping the blood off of my face.
"Look who's dead now, bitch." I whispered hoarsely at the dead Samuel.

Chapter 5: The Sleepover
After I had shot and killed Samuel, the rest of my crew finished off his men. Cece and Jason took me to the infirmary in The Troublemakers headquarters and made sure I was okay and not injured. Once they made sure I was okay, I went home.
Once I was home, I plopped down on my couch with a sigh. I was not expecting that mission to be so brutal, I thought as I passed my hand through my black locks. I leaned back into my couch and closed my eyes for a few seconds, letting the calm, quiet atmosphere relax my body.
I felt a vibration next to me and I looked over to see my phone lighting up. I reached over and picked it up to see who was calling me. Oh shit.
Chandler Austin.
I reluctantly answered, not in the mood for a business conversation. I sighed.
"Hello?"
"It's 10:15." he said slowly. Huh? I pulled my phone from my face and looked at the time. It is 10:15. What does that have to do with anything? Suddenly, a reminder popped up Rmembr dinner at 8 w/ Chan.
I slapped my forehead and groaned. How could I forget something so simple.
"Damn I'm so sorry Mr. Austin I totally forgot! I got caught up with some um, family business?" I rushed a reply.
"Mhm yea of course, is that a question or a statement?" he asked me, obviously not believing me.
"Its a statement, I promise I will remember next time and warn you before if I won't be able to make whatever we plan." I promised, crossing my fingers hoping he doesn't fire me. Not that it would stop me of course.
"Good because next time is now. I still need to tell you what to do because tomorrow start your actual first day of work. I'll text you my address and I expect you to be at my door in the next ten minutes." he said, and hung up right after.
Well then, not salutations or anything. Whatever.
I took off my body suit and put on a tank top and some leggings and made my way over to his house.
I pulled up to Chandler's house, correction, mansion. His house was massive and a pretty red color. I got out of car and walked up to his door, ringing the doorbell.
Chandler opened the door and I almost swooned. He was in basketball shorts and no shirt, his muscular body all out for the world to see. His jet black hair was messy and tousled like he just got done running or something.
"You're late." he stated, frowning down on me. Yes DOWN, I mean he is pretty tall standing at 6'5" compared to my own height of just 5'8". I saw his strong chiseled jaw clench as he spoke.
"Am not! You said be at your door in the next ten minutes and I was on your porch in nine. You just opened the door at 10 minutes and 59 seconds." I corrected him, placing my hands on my hips and cocked my head to the side.
He leaned against the door frame, causing his biceps to flex. Mouthwatering. Dammit snap out of it Terri, I thought to myself, shaking my head to get rid of the thoughts. Chandler opened the door wider.
"Whatever, come in. We have a lot to discuss." he said, moving out of the way so that I could walk in.
I walked in and my mouth dropped at the beauty of the house. It opened into a large foyer, with a huge chandelier hanging in the middle of the ceiling. Stairs swirled on the left and right of me, elegantly spiraling up to the second floor. I continued to walk and walked straight into the huge living room that had a plasma smart tv. I could definitely live in this house.
"You like?" Chandler asked, walking up behind me. I turned halfway, smiling at him in awe.
"I love it! Your house is very beautiful." I breathed out, looking into his piercing emerald green eyes. He stared into my ocean blue eyes and took a step closer to me. I broke eye contact looking away and cleared my throat. He stepped back and cleared his throat too, scratching his head from the awkwardness.
"Alright, sooo are you gonna tell me my job requirements, or..." I trailed off, while walked towards his love seat. I sat down and patted the spot next to me. Chandler walked over and sat down in the recliner next to the love seat. Playing it safe I see.
"Your job Terri, is to basically keep track of everything that I do in my life. From my business meetings to when I go to bed. You will travel everywhere with me and be by my side at all times. Sometimes, well most of the time you will be working overtime and will have to sleep here when you can't make it home. I already set up the guest room for you. You can check it out later when you actually have to sleep in it. You- Terri! Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" he suddenly stopped talking, and asked me.
The whole time I was paying attention to his washboard abs that were clenching every time he spoke.
"Maybe I should put a shirt on so you won't be so distracted huh." Chandler said, while grinning and raised an eyebrow. I finally looked up at his face and laughed, waving him off.
"Oh no no no you are perfectly fine, I'm fine, I'm good, I'm paying attention I swear. I can multitask, don't worry." I said, winking. He shook his head and chuckled.
"Alrighty then, I think that's all. Your job is pretty easy, complicated, but easy." He yawned and got up, sitting back down on the larger couch. He patted the space next to him.
"Come on, come sit next to me and lets watch a movie." He patted the spot next to him again. I laughed as I walked over and plopped down next to him, making him jump up a little from the bounce. He grabbed the remote and turned on the tv, scrolling through the different movies.
"What do you wanna watch?" he asked me, looking at me with tired eyes. I just snatched the remote away from him and clicked on my favorite movie. Magic Mike. He groaned and rolled his eyes.
"Of course you would pick that movie." he chuckled shaking his head.
"What? Its a really good movie! And Channing Tatum is sexy as fuck of course." I said, laughing as his face scrunched up at my statement.
"Whatever." he said as the movie started playing. He picked up a different remote and dimmed the lights. This is very relaxing. Even though we just met, he's putting his full trust in me and treating me like we've known each other for a while. No, no. I closed my eyes and took in a huge breath. I cannot in any circumstances develop any feelings towards him.
None. At. All.
I looked up at Chandler. He was actually into the movie, concentrating on what was happening on the screen. That made me smile a little bit. I guess a little friendship feeling won't hurt.
I scooted closer to him and snuggled under his arm, laying my head on his muscular chest. He froze, not sure of what to do. After a little time passed by, he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me even closer to his chest. I was comfortable and could definitely get used to this feeling.
I haven't had this feeling in a long, long time. Sighing, I snuggled even deeper into his embrace, the movie slowly becoming a blur.
-----------------
I heard birds chirping and the sound of someone mowing their lawn. Things that I don't hear at my place. I slowly opened my eyes and stretched, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. That was the best sleep I had in a while.
I heard someone groan as I was stretching and stopped, and looked down. I was laying on top of someone. Male. No shirt. Sexy abs.
I looked down at myself and saw that I was only wearing my very sexy Victoria's secret bra. I didn't even want to see if I had any pants on.
"Aw shit." Chandler groaned. I looked up at him and saw that he was looking at my bra too. What. The. Fuck.
"Umm, what happened last night?" I whispered to Chandler, looking around at the messy bed.
He was about to answer when his door suddenly opened.
"Hey babe, time to get ready remember you promised tha-OH MY GOD!" Stacy gasped, her eyes wide, dropping her purse and covering her mouth in shock.

Chapter 6: The News
Me and Chandler froze under the sound of his girlfriend's voice. I slowly looked up and saw a dirty blonde standing in the doorway with her hands covering her mouth. Okay I know I was going to try to get her out of the picture, but this was definitely NOT part of my plan at all. Not this early at least.
Chandler jolted up, knocked me off the bed.
"Ouch." I grumbled, standing up and rubbing my ass. Chandler jumped out of bed and basically ran to Stacy, arms outstretched.
"Stace I swear its not what it looks like. You have to believe me." he pleaded.
"Chan, what the fuck am I supposed to think?! I come to wake you up for breakfast and find some slut clawing at your chest!" she shouted angrily, pointing at me. Slut?
"Pause right there, Stace," I mocked. "First off I am NOT a slut, and second, I was NOT clawing at his chest." I spit out, offended. I am not a slut. She looked me up and down in disgust, then turned back to Chandler.
"I don't have time for this. I need to go to work, but you have a LOT of explaining to do tonight." she said, gritting her teeth. Chandler looked confused.
"What's tonight?" he asked.
"We are having dinner tonight to discuss," she glanced and me and I smiled back. "...her." She finished, still crunching up her face in disgust. I rolled my eyes. She's not making herself likable, which made me want to get rid of her more than before.
Chandler shifted nervously and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Okay yea definitely and I promise its not what it looks like. I promise you babe, I would never cheat on you. I promise." he repeated for like the billionth time.
Okay I'm pretty sure she gets it. I promise I promise blah blah blah.
She let out a huge breath and nodded.
"Alright I will try to listen without thinking about what I saw. I need to go now, I will see you tonight." With that, she walked out and made her way downstairs. I waited for the front door to close before said anything. Once the door closed I turned to Chandler.
"I promise babe I promise! I wasn't sleeping with the super sexy delicious looking Terri, I've thought about it of course, but I swear I didn't act on it. Oh and by the way, I also let her feel all up on me, it felt soon good!" I said, mimicking Chandler's voice, laughing.
He turned my way and looked at with anger clearly written on his face. I feigned surprise.
"What?" I gasped. He slowly walked towards me and it took all my might not to retreat. He was pretty menacing. Once he was in my face, he looked me dead in the eyes.
"Is this some kind of sick joke to you? Ruining my perfectly great relationship?" he growled, furious.
I scrunched my eyebrows and looked up at him innocently.
"Joke? Oh no of course not Channy. I would not ever try to ruin your perfectly good relationship," I said stepping closer to him. I went on my tiptoes and my breath fanned his ear. "You will be doing all of that work yourself." I whispered in his ear as I ran my hands slowly down his rock hard chest and peeked up from under my eyelashes.
He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, trying to suppress his moan. My hands traveled even further down, but was stopped as Chandler grabbed my hands.
His eyes flew open and pulled my hands back to my side.
"Stop. Touching. Me." He said slowly, as if to get me to understand what he was saying. I rolled my eyes yet again, and walked past him, my hands trailing across his chest as I left.
"Stop being so up tight Mr. Austin. I'm just trying to have some fun. You need to loosen up." I stood at the bedroom door and smiled up at him. "What your girlfriend doesn't know won't hurt her you know." I winked.
"I'm not that type of guy. You are here to work for me, so from now on I expect you to be professional or else you're fired. Do you understand?" he warned me.
"Yea, yea whatever. I hear you." I mumbled. Can't get myself fired when I just started.
He nodded. I walked out the door and made my way down the stairs and into the kitchen, Chandler following.
"Good. And I told you to call me Chandler, not Mr. Austin." he said, hopping up to sit on the island.
I grinned and cocked my head to the side.
"And I told you the only time I was going to call you that didn't I?" I asked, smirking at his face paling as he remembered what I told him. I laughed and got some breakfast items from the fridge.
*******
After long, hard, tortured hours of work, Chandler finally let me go home, at freaking 6:37 p.m! I swear this mission is going to be the death of me.
As soon as I got home, I plopped down on my king sized bed and let out a sigh of relief of being stress free at the moment.
I turned on my side to get more comfortable and looked at my phone sitting on my dresser beside me. I decided to call Cece because I haven't talked to her in a while.
"Terri!!! You live!" Cece yelled excitingly into the phone. I grimaced.
"Ouch Cece, don't bust my eardrum, its only been like a week." I answered, sitting up in my bed.
"I know I know, but a week is too long. Don't ever take that long to contact me again, understand?" I chuckled, shaking my head.
"Yes Cece, I understand." I could imagine her smiling right now.
"Good! Now tell me, how's your mission going? Close to finishing it yet?" she asked. I groaned.
"Not even close. The guy I'm supposed to seduce and kill has a girlfriend who is super protective and the jealous type AND he's in love with her. So no, this is probably going to take the full three months to complete."
"Well, if anyone can seduce someone, it's you. I swear you can get any guy you want, I'm so jealous!" Cece whined.
"That's not true Cece, you know you get any guy you come in contact with. It doesn't matter who-" My phone started vibrating. I took it off my ear and looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Chandler. Ugh, what could he want now? I put my phone back to my ear.
"Hey Cece I'm going to have to talk to you later, my assignment is calling me." I told her, sliding off my bed to pace around my room.
"Okay! Good luck on your mission and call me tomorrow! Love ya!" she answered.
"Love you too!" I hung up and answered Chandler.
"Yes Mr. Austin?" I answered, trying to hide the annoyance in my voice.
"How fast can you get ready?" he asked me. Huh?
"Umm, why?" I asked, scrunching my eyebrows together, genuinely confused.
"I need you to get ready, and come to dinner with me. I have a last minute business meeting and need you there. Dress nicely." he said.
"What happened to dinner with Stacyyyy?" I asked, taunting him.
He let out a frustrated sigh.
"I cancelled beause my business is more important. I'll sort things out with her later. Just get dressed." He hung up on me.
I looked at my phone, mouth open. What the actual fuck. I let out a frustrated yell and threw my phone on the bed. Seriously I just started this mission, but it was already tiring.
I heard my phone beep and I reached across my bed to see who had texted me. It was Chandler. He texted me the address to the restaurant. I rolled my eyes and went to my walk in closet, looking for something nice to wear.
I pulled out a bright pink romper and put it on, deciding to stand out. I looked through my shoe selection and decided on a pair of nude-pink heels. Sexy, yet elegant at the same time I guess.
I went to my body length mirror to check myself out. The pink romper accentuated my long legs and brought out how black my hair was.
I brushed out my black waves and put on light makeup. To finish up the look, I grabbed a blue clutch out of my closet. After I finished getting ready, I sent a text on my way out the door to Chandler, telling him that I was on my way.
I hopped into my car and drove to the restaurant. I pulled up to the entrance of the classy restaurant. The huge pink sign read Alimentaire Élégante. I'm guessing its french or something. A man dressed in black and white came to my door and opened it for me, extending his hand to help me out of my car.
"Thank you." I said politely, smiling at him as I gave the valet my keys. He nodded and smiled at me. I walked through the doors of the restaurant and made my way up to the man standing behind the podium with the checklist.
"Hi madam, welcome to Alimentaire Élégante, do you have reservation?" he asked, with a heavy french accent.
"Umm, yes? I think. It should be under the name-"
"She's with me Fabian, let her though." a deep voice interrupted me.
I looked up and saw Chandler and almost fainted. He looked absolutely fuckable, standing next to Fabian in an all black suit that hugged every muscle on his body, with a baby pink tie. My eyes widened as I took in his overwhelming beauty, eyes wandering ever inch of his body. His jet black hair was slicked back professionally and his green eyes seemed brighter than usual.
"Come Terri, we shouldn't keep business waiting." He said, breaking me out of my trance like state.
"Oh yea of course, okay coming." I stammered, hurrying by his side. We walked to a private, closed off section of the restaurant and I saw two men sitting at a large table. As we approached the table, I felt a hand slide to my waist and was pulled to Chandler's side.
"You look very stunning," Chandler whispered into my ear as we got closer to the table. "You should dress up more often, I like it." His deep voice sent shivers down my body.
We made it to the table and the two men looked up. One was blonde with blue eyes, and a friendly face. The other had dark brown hair with light brown eyes, but had more of a hard face, as if he rarely smiled.
Chandler pulled out a chair for me and I sat down, across from the guy who didn't smile. Chandler took a seat next to me across from the kind looking guy.
"I'm glad you could meet with us tonight, sorry that it was so sudden. But its very important and couldn't wait until tomorrow." The blondie said to Chandler, wringing his hands nervously.
"It's okay Simon. But is it that important that you needed to bring Brian along with you?" he asked, distaste lacing his voice as he warily looked at Brian, the one who doesn't smile. Brian slouched down in his chair lazily.
"It wasn't my choice to be here. It was Simons. He wanted to make sure he had a witness to back up what he's about to tell you. He didn't know you would have a," his eyes flitted to me then back to Chandler. "...companion here with you also." Chandler looked confused and glanced at me.
"Oh, yea I got a new assistant. She came out of nowhere looking for a job, so I decided to hire her. I just hired her two days ago. This is Terri. Terri, meet Brian and Simon." Brian squinted his eyes at me suspiciously as Chandler explained.
I smiled at both of them and put my hand out to shake theirs.
"Hi, nice to meet you both." I said shaking Simons hand. Brian just looked at it like it was a piece of meat and ignored my gesture. Rude.
"Anyway," Simon continued. Remember the thing that happened before and we made sure something like it never happened again? Well we found out some information that we think you should know." Simon looked at me cautiously, as if he didn't want to continue what he was saying in front of me. Chandler noticed.
"You can say what you need to say in front of her. I will fill her in about everything else later." he told Simon, coaxing him to go on. Simon still looked cautious, but continued anyway.
"Okay so me and Brian were talking to our contacts, and we found out that the crew that tried to kill you the last time is still alive and thriving. We are going to get more information to figure out where they are hiding out at so we can stop their current plan." he explained.
I froze in my seat.
Chandler's expression hardened, and his knuckles turned white from gripping the table.
"What current plan?" he asked, his deep voice laced with anger.
Simon looked around to make sure no one was listening and nervously answered.
"They are planing to have you killed by the end of three months."
My throat went dry.

Chapter 7: The Talk
Chandler's face paled, then hardened.
"What do you mean they plan on having me killed by the end of three months?! I thought you took care of them!" Chandler raised his voice at Simon, banging his fist angrily on the table. Simon looked startled. Brian of course had no expression on his face.
"Well, uh you see, um we-" he stammered, looking at Brian for help. Chandler scoffed and shook his head. He stood up and leaned across the table, finger in Simons face.
"You better take care of them like I asked, or I will have someone take care of you. Got it?" he whispered angrily to Simon, staring him down.
Simon nodded vigorously.
"Yes sir, I- I understand." He whispered back, fear painted clearly on his face.
Chandler stood back up, and started walking away from the table.
"Terri come, we're leaving." Chandler barked at me, not even looking back to see if I was coming. I stood up and looked at Simon and Brian.
"Um, nice to meet you guys. Uhh, yea." I mumbled, grabbing my clutch and left, following after Chandler.
Once I was outside, I saw Chandler leaning against his car, breathing heavily and clenching his fists in anger. I walked up to him and placed my hand on his bicep, looking up at his perfect, angry face.
"Chandler," I started. He looked down at me, with hard eyes and yanked his bicep from under my grip.
"Don't touch me, I'm not in the mood. Go home." he growled, making his way to the drivers side.
I wasn't giving up yet. He shouldn't go home angry, I hate when people are angry.
"Chandler, talk to me. I don't want you to go to bed angr-"
"I said go home! I don't want to hear your annoying voice all night. Now leave. Me. Alone!" he shouted, getting into his car and drove off.
I was taken aback. He never showed this side before, and I didn't really like it. I thought he was just an innocent man, naive to everything. I guess not, I thought as I got in my car and drove off.
As I was driving, I decided to stop at Chandler's house to check up on him. I entered his long driveway and got out of my car. I walked up to his door and took a deep breath before knocking.
The door opened abruptly and there stood Chandler, already dressed down in his routine basketball shorts and no shirt. Good god. He looked down at me and groaned.
"Didn't I tell you to go home? What the fuck do you want now?" he asked me, rolling his eyes. I pushed past him and made my way up to his room, not caring if that was rude or not.
"Yes you did, but I decided to come here and check up on you because clearly, you need someone to talk to." I told him as I threw my purse on his bed. I unbuckled my shoes, using his bed to keep my balance, and threw them in a corner.
I went into his large closet and searched for a t-shirt to wear. I found a grey one, and started to strip.
"Terri what are you doing! Get out of my closet before I-" He abruptly stopped talking and his eyes widened when he saw me in just my bra and panties. His eyes raked my body slowly, starting from my feet and stopping at my breasts. Typical guy.
"Are you done staring Mr. Austin?" I asked him, smirking as he blinked a couple of times to focus.
I pulled the large t-shirt over my body and it stopped just above my knees.
"Okay, come on. Let's talk about whatever you have to talk to me about." I said, pulling him out of the closet and leading him to the bed. I hopped on the bed, swiping everything that was on it to the floor. I sprawled out across the bed and looked up at Chandler, waiting for him to follow my lead.
He looked at me suspiciously as he made his way onto the bed. It dipped slightly when he got on the bed and laid on his back, facing the ceiling. He sighed and put his hands behind his head, biceps flexing at the action.
I scooted closer to him, leaning on my side, with my head in my hand, propped up by my elbow.
"Alright, now that we are comfortable, spill." I told him. He turned his head and looked at me. I could see that he was debating whether to tell me or not. He closed his eyes and sighed again, then started talking.
"Simon and Brian work for me. Their job is to make sure no one tries to kill me or any one that I consider family. They are basically highly trained body guards."
"Why do you need body guards?" I asked, interrupting him. He looked at me and gritted his teeth.
"Don't interrupt me and maybe you'll find out." I shut and let him continue.
"As I was saying, they are highly trained body guards that my dad had assigned to me for my safety. I need body guards because a crew tried to have me killed because of something my dad did. I still don't know what he did up to this day, but all I know is that it was serious enough for them to want me dead."
He paused to take in a deep breath and then continued.
"I was about 14 years old when I became friends with a guy. He had just moved in next door to me with his dad and my family welcomed them to the neighborhood. Me and him hit it off right away and became the best of friends. For a year, we did everything together and were inseparable. One day, he invited me over to his house and of course I said yes. I was 15 years old by that time. Little did I know that he was luring me into a trap. I went to his house and as soon as I stepped in, two men grabbed me from behind. I started kicking and scratching and knocked them both out with this technique my dad showed me, if I was ever in trouble. I looked at my friend and noticed he didn't even try to help me, as if he knew what was going to happen. I didn't stay to figure out the truth I just ran home."
He stopped to take a breath and looked at me, green eyes filled with hurt. I scooted closer to him and rested my hand on his chest. I looked up at him and nodded, coaxing him to continue.
"When I got home, I yelled for my mom, wanting to tell her what had happened. When she didn't respond, I ran upstairs to her room and saw two guys stabbing her, blood flying everywhere. I screamed at them and when they saw me, they jumped out of the window. I ran to the spot they left and-"
Chandler choked up and covered his eyes, shuddering at the memory.
"....I found my mom lying there, covered in blood. I couldn't believe my eyes. I dropped to my knees and tried to wake her, but I was too late. She was already...dead." he whispered the last part, a sob stopping him from continuing.
I could not believe my ears. Who would be so cruel and evil enough to take a little boys mother from him.
I placed my hand on his wet cheek, wiping his tears away and looked into his bloodshot, tear filled eyes. He put his hand on top of mine and closed his eyes, leaning into my hand.
"I'm so sorry Chandler. No one should witness their loved ones being taken away from them. I'm so sorry." I whispered, laying my head on his chest and rubbed small circles on it. He wrapped his arm around me and rubbed my back in an up and down motion, slowly.
"I called my dad and he came home shouting and screaming. I told him everything that had happened and he raced over to the neighbors, only to find that they had packed up everything and vanished. The police searched for years, trying to find the people responsible for my mother's death, but never found them. That's why my dad assigned me those two bodyguards, for my safety. My best friend, his name was Jason. I learned that he is in some type of crew called The Troublemakers and his dad is the leader. I had my bodyguards gather up a team and kill whoever they could that was in that crew. Now today I find out that they are still up and running and now have a plan to have me killed in three months time.
But don't worry, I'm not going to let anything happen to anyone that is close to me. I have a plan of my own. They won't see it coming. I just need to find out where they are hiding so I can finish them off."
I jolted up, Chandlers hand falling from my back and I looked down at him with wide eyes. Jason had his mom killed? No, it can't be true. No. They would've told me....I thought they trusted me. Now they want to finish him off for good? That's my mission? I shook my head and blinked back tears. I was just a pawn all along. Training me to become the best. Training me to be perfect for this mission. I was hurt.
Chandler sat up and looked at me with worry.
"Terri, are you okay?" he asked me, and cupped my cheek, caressing it with his thumb. I looked at him and blinked a few times, not wanting to cry in front of him. I smiled and laughed nervously.
"Yea I'm fine. The story was just getting to me. I don't know why anyone would be so cruel." I said.
He stared at me and I stared back, glancing at his full pink lips and back into his eyes. I really wish I didn't have to kill him, he's so beautiful, I thought as I looked back at his lips. I didn't realize that we were gravitating towards each other until our lips met.
He looked surprised, but I didn't give him time to have any second thoughts as I grabbed his hair and pulled him closer to me, our lips moving in sync.
He groaned as I lightly pulled his hair, and he attacked my lips, causing us to fall backwards on the bed with him on top of me. He left my lips and trailed kisses down my neck, nipping and sucking hard, causing me to gasp and buck my hips into his, creating friction.
He moved back to my lips and I wrapped my legs around his strong waist, grinding into him wanting more friction. He moaned, grinding even harder into me, making tingles shoot straight to my core.
We parted, breathing heavily as we both tried to catch our breaths. He closed his eyes and shook his head while he caught his breath.
"Shit," he cursed looking into my eyes and back down to my lips. I leaned forward to kiss him again, but he turned his head, making me kiss his neck. I kissed his neck and moved my way up to his chiseled jaw, feeling his stubble on my lips.
"Fuck, Terri, sto- shit. Girlfriend." he choked out, but made no move to stop me. I wrapped my arms around his muscular shoulders and thrusted my hips upward, twisting and hitting us so that I was on top of him. He let out a breathless chuckle as I did that and smiled up at me.
He cupped my cheek, and I made a move to kiss him again, but he stopped me, looking at me with a serious expression.
"Terri," he started. I rolled off of him and rolled my eyes.
"I know, I know. You have a girlfriend, blah blah. Whatever." I mumbled turning away from him, suddenly feeling tired. He chuckled and turned me around to face him.
"You know I love my girlfriend, Terri. You're the one who keeps making moves at me." he said, raising his eyebrows as if to prove a point. I shifted and moved closer to his face.
"True, but overtime, you always respond so nicely to me proving that what you're telling me is different from what you are feeling. When's the last time you and Stacy had sex?" I asked his, raising my eyebrows as he stammered.
"Um, well-, look I don't have to tell you anythi-." I laughing and kissed him, shutting him up. He responded just the way I knew he would, his soft lips moving against mine in a hungry manner.
He broke the kiss and cupped my cheek, looking into my eyes.
"Fuck. What are you doing to me?" he whispered, mainly to himself. I shrugged and pecked his lips one last time and slid off of his bed.
"Don't worry, I won't be teasing you anymore I was just having fun with you. I will stay out of you and Stacy's relationship for now." I told him, smiling. He sat up and moved to the edge of his bed.
"Alright. Like I said before, we need to have a professional relationship, nothing else. But I think we can be friends. I mean I already told you my secret that I didn't even told my own girlfriend." He looked at me and I sighed.
"I guess that will work. See you tomorrow boss." I winked and went to the guest room he set up for me. I was very tired and snuggled into the comfortable bed. Even though I was extremely tired, I couldn't fall asleep because of what Chandler told me.
I need some answers from Jason pronto. If what they tell me proves that I was just a pawn the entire time, I will have an entirely new mission.
My mission won't be to kill the mayors son, no.
My mission will be to kill Jason Sr. and Jason Jr.
********
Chapter 8: The Cheater
Two months have passed and I still haven't talked to Jason about what Chandler had told me. I guess you can say I'm kind of stalling the mission because, well, I don't want to go through with it. As time went by, me and Chandler grew closer and basically became the best of friends. I didn't try to hit on him or anything like that (sadly) because I chose to respect his and Stacy's relationship, even though I don't like that bitch. Chandler knows that too.
It's not like she even tries to hide that fact that she despises me for being around her boyfriend twenty-four seven. She even told Chandler that she despises me. What a nice girlfriend right? Yea sure.
Working for Chandler is great and very easy, and I wish I could work there longer. But I know I can't. I have been avoiding Jason's calls and even his dad's calls for the past two months, even though I'm supposed to update them like every two weeks.
What am I going to say to them though? Oh hi, I haven't done anything but drool over my boss/target/mission for the past two months. Yea that statement will get me killed in a hearbeat.
I've kept in touch with Cece, but not as much as I want because I know she will suspect something is going on, or in my case that nothing is going on. Literally. She may be my friend, but her loyalty lies with The Troublemakers.
She will definitely tell Jason Sr. that she is suspicious and think that I may be hiding something, which is why I was so nervous when I got a text from Jason Sr. telling me to go to his place as soon as I was off of work.
He wanted to discuss the mission.
Great.
After work, I made my way over to Jason's house. While I was driving, I was trying to prepare myself for whatever questions they were going to throw my way.
I pulled into the driveway and got out of the car. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, preparing myself for the worst. I went up to the door and knocked, wiping my sweaty palms on my pants.
The door opened and Jason appeared with a huge grin on his face. He opened his arms and cocked his head, wiggling his eyebrows.
I shook my head and laughed, giving him the hug he wanted since it has been a while since I had seen him.
"Terri! You've been avoiding me!" Jason said, squeezing me hard.
"Ow Jason, I can't breathe and I have not been avoiding you, I've just been caught up with my mission." I answered, pushing him off of me. I walked into the house and he made a noise.
I turned around and he was making a face.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked him, backing up slightly when he started walking towards me.
"Tsk tsk tsk. Terriiii, you are in big trouble missy. We thought you were perfect for this mission. Were we wrong?" He said raising his eyebrows. Oh great.
"I don't have to answer that. Now if you will excuse me, I have a meeting with your father." I turned on my heel and made my way to his father's office.
"Good luck babe! You're gonna need it." Jason yelled after me, chuckling to himself.
Well that didn't help my nerves at all. I opened the office door and stepped into the office. There sat Jason Sr. on the phone. He looked up and saw me and motioned for me to sit down. His face was not happy. At. All.
I gulped and sat down in the chair across from him.
"Mhmm, yea okay. I'm taking care of it now." I heard Jason Sr. say into the phone. Taking care of it? What?
He hung up the phone and faced my way, clasping his hands together as he frowned at me.
"Terri," he began. "Do you know why you are here?" he asked me. My face scrunched up in confusion.
"Uhh, cause you want to talk about my mission?" I said slowly, even more confused when he started shaking his head and chuckled, but not in a good way. He leaned back into his chair looking at his hands. Then he looked back up at me.
"Wrong. You are here because I am deciding whether or not you are the right one for this job."
I gripped the oak desk in front of me. WHAT?
"What do you mean whether I'm good enough for this job? Of course I'm good enough for this job that's why you chose me!" I answered, starting to get mad. I was not prepared for that at all. I NEED to be good enough for this job or else, I will be terminated. Forever.
"I thought that you were the best for the job, until now. If you were the best Terri, then please tell me this. Why has two months passed by and the target isn't dead yet?" he asked, staring me down.
My palms started getting sweaty. Oh great.
"Umm, there's a lot of security around him all the time and uhh, I can't seduce him properly. He pulls back every time. There's no way to get him completely alone." I told him, feigning innocence. That was a total lie. Not that he knows that.
"And why, please tell me, can't you get him alone?"
I sighed.
"Because, he has a girlfriend. And he loves her. A lot." I said, biting my lip nervously because I know that excuse won't fly with him.
He looked at me at started laughing.
"Ha! A girlfriend is seriously stopping you from completing your mission? Why didn't you say anything sooner? I can get her out of the equation real quick." I opened my mouth to respond, but he beat me to it. "No Terri, I am not going to have her killed. I have better plan in mind. But don't you worry, now you can complete your mission."
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and smiled.
"Thank you so much Mr. Long, I appreciate it." He nodded and his lips spread into a thin line, he face getting serious again.
"You're welcome. Now remember, you have less than a month left to complete this mission. If you don't complete it in that time period, I won't hesitate to have you terminated." He raised his eyebrows as if to intimidate me.
I just nodded, not trusting my voice to say anything.
"Good, good. Any questions?" He asked. I sucked in a breath and asked the question that was on my mind for the past two months.
"Why did you have Chandler's mother killed?" I held my breath, waiting for an answer. He froze, slowly looking at me with hard eyes.
"Don't worry about that. That was a long time ago. Focus on your mission now. You were trained just for this mission. Do not fail me. You are dismissed." He turned his attention back to his work on his desk.
I got up and basically ran out of the house, his thoughts running through my head. You were trained just for this mission. The truth that I was looking for the entire time. I was just a pawn. A pawn.
I made it home and ran up the stairs, tears spilling down my face. I dropped on my bed, burying my face in my pillow as sobs escape my lips. She was innocent, I just know it. My whole life has been a lie. Killing and fighting people just because someone told me to. Not asking a question. Now I know.
I cannot complete this mission. I will stall the rest of the month, and figure out a plan when the time comes.
I WILL NOT complete this mission.
*****
The next day, I started plotting. The first step in my plan is to get rid of all the non factors in his life, aka his bitchy girlfriend. She was first priority. So yes, back to flirting and more with the lovely Chandler.
I entered the building where I worked and headed to the elevator. Once I reached the right floor, I made my way to Chandler's office, saying a quick hello to his receptionist sitting in front the hallway behind a large desk.
I opened the door, determined and found Chandler sitting behind his glossy desk, head buried in paper work. I was about to call out his name, when someone interrupted me.
"Channy! It's time for lunch!" Stacy said, very loudly, walking up next to me and giving me a nasty look. She had on a pale white shirt over washed out jeans and black boots.
Chandler looked and was looked startled seeing the both of us at the same time.
"Um, no Channy it's not lunch time. Remember I scheduled a meeting for you with your dad? Yea it's about to start in like five minutes." I stated, giving Stacy a nasty look back.
He looked at his watch and his eyes widened.
"Oh crap! I'm so sorry Stace, maybe another time?" He rushed up and pecked her on the lips and hurried out the door, leaving me and Stacy alone in his office.
She faced me and crossed her arms across her chest, staring me down.
"How come he always picks you over me? Are you fucking him? Cause I swear to god-"
"You'll do what? Hit me? Ha, I doubt it. But you can try me if you want, go ahead." I taunted her, making her face turn red with fury.
"So he's cheating on me? Okay. Okay." she said nodding to herself. Wait huh?
"Um wait I didn't-" She held up her hand to stop me.
"It's okay, I knew all along. I'm not stupid. He's gonna pay for that though." With that, she left his office.
I shook my head and walked out behind of her, turning the corner to the conference room.
I opened the door and walked in on Chandler and his father talking. They stopped and looked up when I walked in and Grant smiled at me.
"Ah, how's my favorite assistant?" Grant got up and gave me a big hug. I giggled and hugged him back.
" I'm great Grant, just trying to deal with Chandler's crazy girlfriend." I said, rolling my eyes at Chandler. He shook his head and sighed, running his fingers through his hair.
"What did she do now?" he asked, looking stressed out. I pulled out a chair and sat down next to him. I clasped my hands together.
"Welllll, when you left, she accused me of sleeping with you blah blah and said that you are gonna pay for cheating on her blah blah, same sob story every time." I answered, looking at Grant when I finished. He grunted and rolled his eyes.
"I don't fancy the young lady at all so I would care less if you were cheating. You deserve better than that money hungry bi-, um lady. You deserve someone like Terri." He finished off, winking at me. He knows that I'm always trying to flirt with Chandler. I mean, who wouldn't.
Chandler sighed and shook his head at the both of us.
"She's not money hungry dad and nothing you guys say will change my mind about her. I love her and she loves me." I scoffed.
"What?" Chandler turned to me. "You don't believe that?" he asked, angrily getting up.
I got up in his face.
"No, I don't believe it. She's going to cheat on you. Mark my words." I shot back.
"Okay okay, lets all be calm now and continue this meeting." Grant said, trying to bring the peace back.
I sat back down and scooted my chair away from Chandler.
"Whatever. Just don't come crying back to me when you find out." I mumbled to myself, and crossed my arms across my chest.
**********
My long work day was done and I couldn't wait to go home. On the way though, I got a phone call from Jason Sr.
"Hello?"
"Hello Terri, how are you?" he asked me.
"Uhh, I'm good?" I answered slowly, skeptical about why he was calling me so late.
"Great! I would like for you to come over right now, I have some business to discuss with you and Jason." he told me.
"Um, okay. I'll be there in five." I did a complete u-turn and made it to his house in five minutes.
I knocked on the door and twisted the door knob, letting myself in. I went straight to Jason Sr. office to see what he wanted to talk about.
He looked up from his work when I barged in and smiled.
"Ah, you're here. We can get this meeting started now." He looked around for Jason.
"Oh great, I forgot Jason was upstairs. Could you get him for me please? You know where his room is, don't bother knocking either. Just go right in." he said, still smiling oddly. I looked at him suspiciously, but did what he said.
I went up the stairs and went to Jason's door. I stood in front of it and thought about what his dad said. Don't bother knocking. Shrugging, I was about to turn the door knob when I heard some grunting noises. I leaned closer to the door and pressed my ear against it.
"You like that huh? Better than that preppy boyfriend of yours." I heard Jason say.
"Oh my god, yessss, right there!" I heard a female moan. I almost fell backwards. I recognized that voice. I need to get proof. I pulled out my phone and clicked on the camera app, going to video.
I twisted the doorknob slowly and what I saw confirmed my suspicions. There on that bed, Jason was plowing into Stacy, making that bed bang against the wall.
"Ahhh harder please oh my- ahh!" Stacy yelled out, as Jason thrusted in her. My mouth was open the whole time as I recorded (no, I did not like it I just needed proof). I slipped a little and made a small noise, catching myself before I fell. I looked up and saw Jason looking at me and he smiled, and winked at me as he thrusted even harder in Stacy.
I ran down the stairs right past Jason Sr. and straight to my car. I tried to get rid of the scene that I had witnessed in my head as I drove home.
I have better plan in mind. Jason Sr's words crossed my mind. Oh. My. God. That was his plan? That's how he was going to get rid of Stacy? By making her cheat? Wow, I thought as I pulled into my driveway and made it inside.
How am I going to tell Chandler? He's going to be devastated. Maybe I shouldn't tell him. No, I have to.
I was so conflicted and so many thoughts passed through my head as I got undressed and got ready for bed.
I decided I'm going to tell him. That's what a real friend would do.

Chapter 9: The Stranger
"Can he hurry up? Jesus." I muttered to myself, tapping on my steaming cup of coffee. I decided to tell Chandler about Stacy and texted him to meet me at the coffee shop around the corner. I figured if we were in a public place, he wouldn't go crazy on me.
I sighed and leaned back in my chair, glancing at the clock on the wall. He's five minutes late. He can never be on time, I thought shaking my head. I heard the bell for the front door ring and looked up. Chandler was walking my way with a huge smile on his face.
"Hey, sorry I'm late, I was at the jewelers." He said excitingly, taking off his coat and sitting down in front of me. Jewelers? I saw a square black velvet box in his hand and froze. That can't be what I think it is.
"Umm, Chandler? What is that?" I asked him, my mouth slightly ajar. He smile grew as he opened the box. There sat a huge, shining rock. I knew it.
"This is why I was late. I'm going to ask Stacy to marry me." he told me. His smile made my heart ache, because what I was about to tell him will crush him.
I took in a deep breath to calm myself. I reached over and closed the box, taking it out of his hand. I placed it beside him on the table and grabbed his hands, squeezing it slightly.
"Chandler, what I am about to tell you is, well, it's not good news." I said, looking into his eyes. He looked at me quizzically. I continued.
"Your girlfriend i-"
"No." Chandler interrupted me, shaking his head. He laughed humorlessly and yanked his hands from mine.
"You need to stop right there. Stop telling me stupid shit about my girlfriend that isn't true. Just face the facts and realize that I don't like you in that way and you will never, ever have me." he spit out, clenching his jaw.
Ouch. That one hurt, a lot. And pissed me off. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and scrolled, until I found the video. I clicked on it and thrust my phone in his face.
"Your worthless girlfriend is cheating on you, fool. I may never have you, but she sure doesn't just have you either now does she?" I spit back, not caring that his face was paling and his fists were balling up. I put my phone back in my pocket and got up abruptly, my chair flying back.
I slammed my hands on the table and leaned close to his face.
"I think you need to get your money back and return that ring cause um, I don't hear any wedding bells." I whispered in his ear. I turned and walked out the coffee shop, zipping up my jacket. I shoved my hands into the pockets, muttering curses to myself.
I was about to walk across the street to get to work, but someone pulled me back. I looked up and saw Chandler's face. He was fuming.
"Where the fuck did you get that video?" he asked angrily, his grip on my upper arm getting tighter. I winced from the pain.
"Ow Chandler let go of me! You're hurting me!" I cried out. He let go of my arm, face softening. I rubbed the spot to release the tension. He palmed his face and ran his fingers through his hair. Then looked at me with a pained expression.
"Terri, why would she do this to me? I loved her." His voice cracked and he shook his head as if he was trying not to cry. I felt bad, maybe I shouldn't have told him. I went up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my head in his chest.
"I don't know Chandler. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you." I said to his chest. I felt his arms slide around my back, pulling me closer.
"No, it's okay. I'm glad you told me. If you didn't, I would've ended up marrying a cheater." He sighed and put his face in my hair. "My dad was right. She is just a gold digger. I should've listened to him." he mumbled.
I leaned back and cupped his face.
"Hey look at me." I said softly. He looked down at me, pain in his eyes. "You will be okay. You're better of without her okay? You don't need her. Why would you anyway when you got me huh?" I wiggled my eyebrows, bringing a smile on his face. He laughed and pulled me in another hug.
"You're right. I do need to talk to her soon though. And you need to be there when I do to calm me down because I don't know what I will do if I'm alone with her." he said, sighing, staring into space.
"Of course I will. Don't worry, I'm sure you will have more control than you think." I told him. I got on my tippy toes and kissed his soft cheek.
"You will be fine, okay?" I looked into his eyes, reassuring him. He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath.
"Alright," he answered, still hesitant. I smiled and grabbed his hand.
"Good now let's go. Just because you're the boss doesn't mean you get to be late for work all the time." I wagged my finger at him with my free hand. He just laughed and we crossed the street together.
********
"This is so sweet of you Channy. Cooking dinner for me, you're the best boyfriend ever! This is why I love you." Stacy crooned, placing her red painted claws on Chandler's hand. I saw him freeze at her touch, but she didn't seem to notice.
I gave Chandler the idea to invite her over to his house for dinner and talk to her about everything while they were eating. She was sitting across the table from him and I was sitting next to him, just in case he needed some calming.
"Yea, no problem. That's what faithful boyfriends do these days." he said, slipping his hand out from under hers. "I don't know how faithful girlfriends are these days though." he continued, clasping his hand together. He put his chin on his hands and stared Stacy down.
She was about to put another scoop of food in her mouth and froze when he finished his statement. Her eyes traveled from me to him, and chuckled nervously.
"Baby what are you talking about?" she asked, placing her fork on her plate. She wiped her hands on her napkin and coughed.
Chandler sighed and got to the point.
"You're cheating on me. Just admit it, and this can all go smoothly. We can have a calm breakup with no shouting involved. Just tell me the truth, is all I ask." he told her calmly, clenching his teeth to hold back his anger.
Please tell the truth, please. He is gonna burst if she doesn't, I thought to myself.
His statement wiped the smile off of her face and she dropped her napkin. Then turned to me and glared.
"She told you that didn't she? That bitch is lying I swear to god!" She pointed at me. "You were always jealous of my relationship with him, of course you would make up a bullshit lie like that." She turned back to Chandler. "Babe, don't believe that bitch, she's just a liar." she pleaded, looking him in the eye.
Chandler closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. Oh no, he is gonna blow. I placed my hand on his thigh and his eyes snapped open and he looked at me. I gave him a look that said be calm, and he sighed, nodding. Once I knew he was calm again, I put my hand back on table.
"I'm going to ask you again, and this time, you better tell me the truth." Chandler forced the words out of his mouth through gritted teeth. Stacy's eyes were wide and she looked very nervous.
I saw the look in her eyes and I knew she was just going to lie again. I took my phone out and went to the video.
"Channy! I swear! I'm not-" She gasped and turned towards me, covering her mouth with her hands.
Since I knew she was about to lie again, I took it upon myself to just play the video. Grunts and moans filled the air and Chandler closed his eyes, his fists clenched into balls.
Stacy's eyes went wide. She flew up out of her chair and raced over to Chandler's side. Chandler got up before she could touch him. I went to his side, not knowing what was about to happen.
"Chandler, I can explai-" she started, and flinched when Chandler glared at her.
"What the fuck Stacy! Why!?" he yelled at her.
"I don't kn-, I thought, he," she stammered, glancing at me each time. That made Chandler furious.
"You had me fucking believing that you wanted to wait until marriage to have sex. Then you fucking cheat on me?! I WAITED for you! WAITED! For TWO FUCKING YEARS! TWO! You know how long that is for a guy not to have sex?! What the FUCK STACY!" he shouted, flinging his arms to emphasize his words.
"I'm sorry Chandler! I didn't mean to! I swear! I love you!" Stacy cried out reaching toward Chandler. He backed up out of her reach.
"You didn't mean to? You didn't mean t-" he scoffed, not even finishing his sentence. "You didn't fucking mean to?! Are you fucking kidding me? Are you serio-" I grabbed him by his arm and pulled him close, rubbing it slowly to calm him down.
"Chan," I muttered quietly, tracing the veins in his strong muscle. He placed his hand on top of my hand that was tracing his bicep and let out a breath he was holding in.
He looked back at Stacy and shook his head.
"And to think I was gonna ask you to marry me." he whispered, but loud enough for her to hear.
Tears sprang to her eyes and she gasped.
"Get the fuck out of my house. I never want to see you again." he growled, clenching and unclenching his hands.
Stacy got her things and went to the door, looking back at Chandler one last time and left, slamming the door behind of her.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and followed Chandler to the living room. He paced back in forth in front of, muttering to himself and put both of his hands on top of his head. He stopped, and looked at me, a smile forming on his face.
"Thank you so, much Terri. I don't know how I would've gotten through that without you." he said walking towards me. I smiled back took a step forward.
"Ahh, it's no biggie, what are friends for huh?" I answered shrugging.
He pulled me in for a hug and I wrapped my arms around his neck, smiling up at him. He leaned closer, glancing at my lips. My heart started beating faster as his eyes traveled back to mine. Thoughts raced through my head. No girlfriend. No restrictions. Maybe I can... I slid my arms slowly down his neck, past his shoulders and to his button down dress shirt. I looked into his eyes to see if he was going to stop me as I started unbuttoning his shirt. He head leaned slightly to the side as if he was daring me to keep going.
Once I was done, I was about to take his shirt off but he beat me to it, throwing it to the side. I placed my hands back on his naked torso, slowly tracing the protruding muscles. I felt his arms slide down my back, over my ass and stopped at my thighs. He hooked his arms around them and picked me up, hooking my legs around his waist. I gasped at the sudden gesture, placing my arms around his neck.
I tightened my legs around his waist so I wouldn't fall as he lifted my shirt up to take it off. He threw it over his head and groaned at the sight of me in just my bra.
"Friends...?" his breath fanned my face as he questioned my statement. I looked at his lips and saw his tongue glide over his lips, making my lips part slightly.
"Chand-," I whispered, but was cut off as his lips crashed on mine. I locked my arms around his neck and pulled him even closer. He yanked and sucked my lips. His tongue probed my teeth, trying to get through, but I wouldn't let him. He gave up and his lips traveled down to my neck, nipping and sucking. I tiled my head to the side, allowing him more access to my neck.
He sucked hard on one spot, causing me to gasp at the slight pain. He took that opportunity to plunge his tongue in my mouth. Our tongues danced and battled for dominance, both of us being stubborn. I tore my lips from his to catch my breath, panting like I had just finished running a marathon. I leaned my forehead against his.
"Fuck," I panted, letting my hands slide down his muscular back. I looked down at him and his head came up to claim my lips again. As soon as his lips touched mine, the doorbell rang. We tore away from each other, eyes wide.
"Are you expecting anyone?" I asked him. He shook his head slowly, eyes squinting in suspicion.
"No, I'm not." he said slowly. The doorbell rang again. I hopped down and he went to the door, and I followed him of course, curious to see who would be at his house so late.
Chandler opened the door, but I couldn't see because his back was blocking my way.
"Who are you?" Chandler asked the stranger, leaning against the frame, his back muscles rippling at the motion. My eyes traveled down his back at stopped at his back dimples. Yummy. I wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head against his back. I felt his free hand rest on top of my arm.
"Are you Chandler Austin?" The stranger asked. I froze. No, no, no. Please let me dreaming.
"Yes, who are you?" Chandler asked again. I peeked around Chandler and my heart dropped.

Chapter 10: The Hostage
Jason stood in front of Chandler with a sinister smile on his face. When I peeked out from around the corner, his eyes went wide, then narrowed.
"Am I, interrupting something here?" he asked, eyeing my almost naked chest. Chandler shifted and I let go of him, crossing my arms over my chest. Chandler glanced down at me and then looked back at Jason.
"Um yea kind of, now who are you and what do you want?" Chandler asked Jason, irritation creeping in his voice. The creepy smile was back on Jason's face and he took a step forward.
"You don't remember me?" Jason asked, feigning surprise. Chandler furrowed his eyebrows together genuinely confused.
"Should I know who you are?" he responded.
Jason opened his mouth and looked at me, then back at Chandler.
"Wait, you seriously don't recognize me?" Jason scoffed, laughing. I could see Chandler start to get angry.
"Okay look, I don't know if this is some type of prank or something but you need to leave." He started closing the door, but Jason stopped it, a serious look plastered on his face.
"How could you ever forget your childhood best friend?" Jason said, a smirk creeping on his face as Chandler's mouth slightly opened. He started shaking his head as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Yes, you're thinking straight Chandler Austin. It's me, Jason Long." I didn't see it coming and I don't think Jason did either, but as soon as those words came out of his mouth, Chandler reached out and grabbed Jason's neck with both of his hands, choking him. He yanked him inside and slammed him against the wall next to the door.
"You killed my mother!" Chandler yelled in Jason's face, squeezing his hands tighter around his neck. Jason thrashed against his hold, clawing at his hands so he could breathe.
"I didn't kill your mother. My father had her killed." Jason choked out, wheezing as Chandler loosened his grip on his neck. Jason rubbed the spot where Chandler's hands were and glared at him.
"Your father may have had her killed, but you are to blame just was much as him. I should kill you right now." Chandler spit out, breathing heavily. Jason let out a short laugh.
"But if you kill me, you will never know who actually killed your mother. Orrrr, who is planning on killing you in three weeks time. Aha!" Jason chortled at Chandler's reaction to what he had said.
Chandler took a few steps towards Jason until his back hit the wall.
"You tell me who they are or I swear to god I will kill you right now." Chandler said slowly, his deep voice echoing in the quiet air. Jason don't do it, I thought when he looked over at me, humor in his eyes. I couldn't risk getting caught now. I just gained Chandler's trust. I gave Jason a look and he rolled his eyes, his attention turning back to Chandler.
"Just know that it's someone that is," he glanced at me. "....super close to you, let's just say that." Jason pushed Chandler away and made his was back outside. He stopped and turned.
"See ya in three weeks Chandler." He chuckled to himself and then gasped. "...or not!" He laughed hysterically and drove off, leaving behind a very furious Chandler.
*******
After the encounter with Jason, Chandler went around the house breaking things and cursing until he was weak and tired. Of course he ended up bruising himself and I cleaned and patched up his wounds.
"You really need to learn how to control your anger," I told him while we were laying in his bed. He sighed and stroked his injured hand that was around my waist.
"I know, I know. I can't help it sometimes. I'm trying to get better at controlling it I swear." he responded, staring up at the ceiling. I just smiled and snuggled closer to him.
"As long as you're trying, that's all that matters." I answered. I stretched up and pressed my lips against his stubbled jaw. His fingers feathered up and down my spine, as he started falling asleep. I laid my head back on his chest and started thinking. I don't know what we are, but I don't want to lose whatever this is that we have.
I was so comfortable in his embrace that I almost fell asleep. Until I remembered I had some business to take care of. I slowly moved Chandler's hand off of my waist and got up, careful enough not to wake him. I stretched one leg over his body and placed my hands on his chest to boost me over to the floor.
I put more pressure on his chest than I thought and he started moving. I stopped what I was doing and slowly sat back down, straddling his waist. He groaned and shifted, unconsciously grabbing my hips, grounding me in place. Right over his bulge. My heart started racing and clamped a hand over my mouth from laughing. I could imagine what he was dreaming about. I mean he did say two years right?
Chandler shifted yet again, this time thrusting his hips upwards. My eyes got big and I gritted my teeth to suppress a moan that was about to escape as tingles shot into my core. Once he stopped moving, I stretched my leg to the floor and once I was stable, I did a mini hop to get my other leg on the floor.
I looked over at Chandler and saw his chest moving up and down, indicating that he was still sleeping, peacefully might I add. Perfect.
I stealthily made my way out of his house and to my car, then drove off to my destination.
The Troublemakers hideout.
I parked on the other side of the road so no one would recognize my vehicle. The Troublemakers hideout is basically in the middle of nowhere, with old houses in the surrounding areas. There are a few trees surrounding the place, but behind those trees is a large mass of land. On that land, hidden well, is a large dirty pond. You don't want to end up in the pond.
The hideout is a huge warehouse that houses guns, drugs, gadgets from all over, and whatever else we needed to house. Like hostages.
After realizing that I was just a pawn to Jason Sr., basically disposable, I had decided to intervene on all of their missions. Like letting their hostages go and destroying all their equipment that they needed, for one.
Tonight, they kidnapped a little girl from the couple that owed them some money. I don't do kidnapping little kids. So they were definitely going to hurt for this one.
I reached over to the backseat and grabbed the equipment that I needed for this personal mission. I took a two knives and stuffed one in each of my boots. I grabbed two pistols and put them in my in my waist band and the other in the back. Once I was sure I had everything I needed, I got out of my car and pulled my makeshift hood/mask over my face, masking my identity.
Tapping my neckpiece, I turned it on to hide my real voice.
"Hello." I whispered, my voice coming out deep and raspy. I giggled to myself. I freaking love gadgets.
I opened the door to the backseat of my car and took out two handheld machine guns. Oh, yeah this is gonna be fun, I thought, closing the door with my foot. I started walking across the street and when I got close enough I started letting bullets fly.
"HAAAAAAA! I'M BACK BITCHES!" I shouted, shooting at the sky. The warehouse door slid open and three men dressed in black with guns came running my way. I threw the machine guns to the side and pulled out my pistols.
One man ran to the left of me and I shot him right in the head, blood flying as he fell. Another made him way to my right as the other ran to my middle. I let the guy to my right get closer and I whacked him with the barrel of my gun, his eyes rolling to the back of his head. The guy on my middle shot at me but missed, and I shot him in the kneecap.
"Ah fuck!" he screamed, falling to the ground, clutching his knee.
I ran inside of the warehouse and saw four more guys scrambling to get to me. I looked to my left and saw a little blonde girl about seven years old with tape around her mouth, tied to a chair. An overly muscular bodybuilder looking guy was next to her with a gun held to her head. If I tried to get to the girl first, I wouldn't make it in time to save her. I guess I have to take care of these bimbos first.
I ran at the men coming my way and yelled, grabbing a knife from my boot and threw it at one of the men, hitting him right in the chest. He thumped to the ground. One down, three more to go.
The next one ran up to me and kicked the gun I grabbed from my hand. My wrist twisted slightly, pain shooting through my wrist. I gritted my teeth from the pain and ducked as the guy swung his leg at my head. I grabbed his leg mid-air and twisted it, snapping his kneecap and possibly his leg, out of place. He screamed and before he fell, I grabbed his neck and punched him hard, blood and teeth flying out his mouth. I threw him on the ground and crouched down, ready for the next two.
They both hesitated, glancing down at the guy on the ground.
"Come on! Just kill her already! There's two of you and one of her!" the muscular guy who stood by the little girl shouted at his men. That seemed to give them some confidence because they started running at me.
I stayed where I was and when they were a few feet in front of me, I ran. I gained momentum from the ground and kicked up, knocking the guy to my left out, and grabbed the guy to my right by his throat. I flipped over him and locked my legs around his neck, slamming him down to the ground as I fell, a loud crack ringing through the air as I crushed his skull. I winced as I landed on my elbows but quickly got up.
I looked down and saw blood flowing from under my last victim. Breathing heavily, I looked up at the last target in the room and narrowed my eyes as I walked over to him.
"Let the girl go, and you get to live." I warned him.
He just laughed like I just told a funny joke.
"You," he pointed at me. "let me live?" he pointed to himself and laughed again.
"You mean, I might let you live if you leave right now." He retorted, baring his teeth at me. Ooo, scary.
"Alright, don't say I didn't warn you." I told him, crouching down. He laughed again. I narrowed my eyes as I wrapped my hand around the hilt of my knife.
"Try me." he growled, showing his rotten teeth. I love dares.
I drew my hand back and threw my knife at him, aiming for his head. I was about to run and rescue the girl but a laugh stopped me.
The big guy was grinning at me, with my knife in his hand, blood running down to his elbow. He looked at his hand and then back at me with wide eyes.
"You cut me." he said, narrowing his eyes and flinging my knife to the side. Aw, boo hoo.
"Suck it up hulk. I'm about to give you more than just a cut." I answered, running towards him. He stayed put and I raised my leg to to knock him out, but he grabbed my leg and slammed me down, knocking the breath out of me. Pain shot up through my back and I gasped for air. I heard a whimper and looked up a little bit to see the little girl crying, panic in her eyes.
I groaned while getting up and put up my fist, positioning myself to fight back. I swung at him and missed, his beefy hand connecting with my face, knocking my backwards.
I stumbled backwards and clutched my jaw while it throbbed. I shook my head and spit to the side, eying the blood on the ground. I caught my breath and watched as muscle man charged after me with a machete. He raised the blade and came down hard, missing as I moved out of the way. With his back towards me, I kicked his back and he shot forward, losing his balance.
I jumped on his back and wrapped my hands around his huge neck, trying to choke him.
"Uhhh, get, off, of ME!" He roared and reached back and grabbed me, flinging me off of his back. I flew into some barrels, and my head bounced on the ground. I winced and touched the back of my head, seeing blood on my hand.
I looked up in time to see the machete and rolled out of the way. He roared because he missed and I sprang up. He turned my way and charged after me again. I felt around my waist for some type of weapon and pulled out a bottle. I didn't have time to see what it was and just sprayed it in the muscle man's eyes.
"AHHHH!!" He screamed, dropping his machete and clawing at his eyes. I looked at the bottle and it read 'Pepper Spray'. How convinient. I dropped to the ground and slid through his legs, over to the machete. I grabbed it and raised it over my head and stabbed him through his meaty back, blood splattering on my face.
He gasped and I pushed him sideways, making him fall in that direction. I gasped for air, my chest getting tighter from the amount of energy I wasted.
"Ew, ahh disgusting." I spit and wiped the blood off of my face.
I hear a cry and ran over to the little girl, taking my knife that I didn't use from my belt and cut her bounds and gags. Once she was free, she wrapped her arms around my neck, still crying. My heart ached for the little girl.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" she cried out. "You saved me.." she whispered the end of her sentence. I smiled at her.
"You're welcome sweetie. What's your name?" I asked her, brushing her blonde wispy's out of her face.
"My name is Karen. What's yours?" she asked, smiling at me. I noticed she was missing a few teeth.
"My name is Terri and I'm gonna get you home safely okay?" I told her, clutching her little hands.
"Okay! I understand. I'm so glad I'm not dead. The bad guys said I'm gonna die. I didn't want to die. But then you came in like wonder woman! She's my favorite superhero!" Karen told me as we walked past all the blood and dead bodies.
We made it to my car and she gave me her address. Once I got her back home, I drove back to mine and went up to my bedroom.
"Ah, fuck." I groaned as I took off my body suit. I faced my body length mirror and saw some purple and black bruises all over my ribs and neck. My back was even worse, it was completely painted purple and black.
"Damn, there is no way I'm going to hide this." I said to myself as I pulled a long t-shirt over my head.
My phone started ringing and I trudged over to it and answered on the third ring.
"Hello?" I answered hoarsely, my throat sore from yelling.
"What the fuck. Did. You. Just. Do?" a deep voice growled into my ear.
My jaw dropped.
