He hates that we're in one of those creeper vans with no windows so he's keen on reimagining... he's got one hand on the wheel, and the other on the dimple of my knee--Ssswerve, now we're in one of those European double decker trolly buses and it's filling up fast, heading to Prose HQ cuz I say we just have to have to see it, to believe it, as a once in a lifetime experience. @A is sending out invites by sonar and morse code flash. flash. tap. tap. tap. We've picked up @CreativeChaos cuz he's soooooo... excited to see what he calls his City!! He's sitting connecting with @saf and @Mazzy looking at the Stars and spotting the Big Bear aka @dustygrein. @Finder is right behind the driver seat, making sure we don't lose our way. She's checking the moral compass. @Dark slipped in and is all the way slumped in the backseat next to @Winterreign nursing a bottle of San Pellegrino, because he's given up on Perrier. @JeffStewart is on the radio, singing in ultra sonic, but nobody knows that cuz he hasn't made his debut announcement yet. @MeeJong is talking to us through the GPS and I think she has the right address... @ALifeWitArt is onboard taking pictures of everything passing by inside and out, to paint it up later... My friend @Syne is right behind me and we're catching up on old Time, his cat Schrodinger and all things Quantum and @DrSemicolon is asking what happened to @CYS_Correia and @itsdemoray? @Moonchild who changed his name a couple times around's winking at me from a few seats down (I see in the side view mirror ;) and now he's eyeing @LilEngima but @MisterEngima is having none of that. And @DaveK is saying WTFfs... ? while @LillyZ says what did you say hon? and @ts735b IS obnoxiously playing with the windows... @Danceinsilence declined to hop on but encouraged @anarosewood who was more than happy to join us and she's sitting next to @Shells and @FauxHero... @ZekeMatthews has climbed aboard to escape the missus, whew, narcasmissus! @JD4 is somewhere in the middle of several newspapers; one from 2001, one from 84 and another from some point in 4020 something... and some pamphlets borrowed from @markysparky @Batmaninwuhan is on the rooftop cuz he is claustrophobic. Agoraphobic. Little bit Zenophobic. seriously, so @EstherFlowers1 is holding his hand through the window while flipping through a well worn copy of the Best of Spinoza. @Harry_Situation is standing by the door along with @Undermeyou repeating that there is room, always, always room for one more... And @Mnezz is leaning out the back window with a Camcorder, getting it allll on film!!!! @ChrisSadhill is cheering Right On!! and @fudo is thinking up a new challenge prompt... while @Beccawaits, waits. (what! no, she's writing her own thing on cellphone! :) @JimLamb just let me know.

@7v7 is in somewhere in the engine block checking how this thing works from the inside, along with @Z nearby in the MAP sensor under the dash hooking up some special Zapp features for what is now becoming the Prosambulator...

and @LARGE is hollering "WE'LL NEVER GET THERE!" while @SharondBriggs says Keep the Faith!

and we're all right, alright... cuz Prose is not about the Destination...

OK. Now that Batmaninwuhan and I have patched up our differences we are taking ourselves to task of configureening the proper space craft. And we're almost done.

It's made of plastics: Polycarbonate siding, polyvinyl sheathing, polyehtylene wrappers, polyeurethane varnish, and other polymers tucked throughout in the crevices. All recycled. Plus styrofoam and elastic. We recycled/ reclaimed/ reused/ and reduced everything ourselves. Still fresh but not tacky. I think...

As a satellite myself, micro pocket size, I am pouring over the details in the electronic wiring, while Batman is ramming together the final parts of the Prosedotcomnik Rocket Launcher Model ABZ: Whisper-2000-the-Better-to-See-U-Clap-on Clap-Offer.

It has a livestream webcam in front behind and on all sides in and exterior. Fish Eye, and surround sound. It's going to be a spinoff to the Prose YouTube channel, maybe...

Procketeer itself is shaped like a Blimpie and has a megaphone to announce us to on-coming traffic in case anybody misses us. We're THAT big.

Batmaninwuhan says he's not sure if anyone wants to onboard, actually, but the thing is just about ready, and I have confidence so I'm calling in some newbies for support:

We have like 144.7 K seats in here... and Batmaninwuhan is buildering an addition.... or maybe it's just his private compartment??? I dunno...

In any case we're heading up, and who knows what we will find? or see below?

ProseTrip Challenge @ChrisSadhill

Once upon a time, in a land not quite far enough away....

A bunch of us from Prose decided to take a road trip, so we found the biggest Class A motor-home ever built, christened her the PRS (Prose Road Ship) Discordia, and all piled in.

@JeffStewart was elected driver. The @Prose mobile IS his after all, and his pups made perfect guard dogs… well, they would be if they weren’t so damned cute. @fudo was convinced he knew where we were going, so we let him be the navigator. His eyes looked a bit red to drive anyway…

@MeeJong found the mini-bar in the back, and once she was joined by @amandabjaworski they started singing “Suzie-Q” on an endless repeat loop…

@Uschibear challenged @Finder to a game of Scrabble, and between them, they have exhausted every 7-letter word in Webster’s dictionary…

@ChrisSadhill, @Mazzy, @putski, and @DianaHForst were playing UNO, but an argument broke out over which direction play should go after simultaneous reverse cards used, and they decided to try dominoes instead…

@MisterEnigma and @LilEnigma have been back in the bedroom since we left, and everyone else is either too embarrassed or just too indulgent to even knock on the frame next to the curtain…

@DaveK and @LillyZ climbed up into the space above the cab to “watch the road” together. We all have our doubts as to their true intentions…

@TheWolfeDen is busy searching every road sign we pass for pictures of avocados, and based on the knowing grins and furtive glances from @thePearl and @ledlevee, I’m pretty sure she is taping our conversations as well…

@Shells invited everyone to stop by her place for sweet tea, and @MadCow got excited, because the next great work of art involved both tea and seashells…

As for me? I’m staying close to the refrigerator, and keeping my eye on the honey jar.

so we decide to take a bus

nothing is off limits

for Sushi and the gang

we go our separate ways

at the end of the day

and keep writing on Prose

and smiling at each other's names

CornerChicken waist for what seems like forever for her text to be answered.

We can finally take our long awaited trip.

sushi_trash, Ashryn, BJLeCrae, CharlieWrites, and fudo are packing as quickly as they can for their, as CornerChicken says, chance-of-a-life-time trip.

sushi_trash pulls up to pick up the very last passenger.

After HOURS of stalling, CornerChicken was finally ready.

CornerChicken jumps into the front, booting Ashryn back a seat.

After many many many more hours of driving for what seems like forever, everyone loads out, running to the house that looks old and cozy.

The stars are bright and the clouds are a dark ocean blue.

They all rush to the water, throwing their towels onto the sand.

Sure, CharlieWrites was messing with the windows the entire time but it was worth it.

ChrisSadhill watches as everyone splashes each other and swims around in the water as he rests back into a lawn chair, sipping on cold iced tea.

After a week, everyone returns home, sad that the wonderful getaway must end.

As soon as CornerChicken gets home, she writes it into a prose contest, tagging everyone that she spent her vacation time with to let them know she is beyond grateful for them.
