Ultimate Destiny.
A burst of bright light shines from the sky as the stars align. What a glorious sight!
The Stars have revealed it all. What do they have to say and know about my ultimate destiny?
Do I even believe in their prediction? Will this even ever happen? Can it be changed in any way?
My Ultimate destiny is to help create a balance between different realms, and worlds.
Maybe I should just trust my self before I begin my journey. And keep on going until the goals of my Ultimate destiny are all reached.
My Destiny
My destiny is to bring light,
To those who refuse to see,
And silence shadows,
Who forever fight.
There is negative,
And there is positive,
There must be a balance,
But you can choose.
Your life is yours,
Though it may not seem,
You have choices,
Though they may be limited.
I am here for you,
Just ask for my guidance,
Listen to me,
Think deeply about my words.
My destiny is to lead you to the light.
Mew!
A tiny cry erupts from somewhere below my feet: “Mewwww!!”
My heart rate escalates and I begin scouring the ground. Sounds like a baby kitten! What’s a baby kitten doing in a Trader Joe’s parking lot!?
There, a grey fuzzball in the bushes!
He’s bleeding!
“MEWWWW!”
“IT’S OKAY, I’LL GET YOU TO SAFETY!”
I scoop him up and run across the parking lot like I’m being chased with a gun. Concerned heads turn.
I swing open my trunk and place him alongside 4 other injured kittens I coincidentally found while running errands today.
Looks like I’m a kitten rehabilitator now.
My ultimate destiny
My ultimate destiny.
The thing that has always eluded me.
Now it sits, unwrapped,
Just inches from my fingertips.
Should I take it, though?
If it were indeed my destiny
Why was it so long hidden from me?
If such a thing were meant to be
It would have happened already
I decide.
And I decline.
Chosen one.
"Chosen one? Last time I ran up the stairs I..."
"You're not a warrior. When mercury aligns, you'll be granted some am"
"But if it's not to fight"
"Anyone can pick up a weapon. You'll bring balance to the universe."
"Balance? No heavy lifti"
"No."
"What powers"
"Food will always be within your reach. Bowels and bladder magically empty and eternal life."
"Live forever?"
"There's a price. You'll never leave that sofa again. You've got a lot of TV to catch up with. Bye now!"
The being vanished with a pop as golden light surrounded the seated figure.
"Oh... fuck!"
eleven years
I have no heartwarming, baby-bird-falls-out-of-tree story to tell. I just remember what it felt like putting that Toy Story band-aid on Ms. Trina’s little boy. Life hurts. I think all we can do is make it hurt a little bit less.
Over the years, I’ve seen too many cancer patients and heard too many last words over a hospital bed to believe in destiny. But on the days when the results come back negative, and the bald, little warrior is triumphant, it’s nice to think that maybe the universe put that M.D. after my name for a reason.
Bringer of Chaos
“You were born from the two individuals with dark souls. But the birthplace is earth. Your first breath taken on the dark, flush of greenery, knowing then you were meant for more.”
“How much more?” She asks as she walks along the sides of her father.
“More to become the bringer of chaos.”
The look down upon their castle as they watch humans passing by without realizing who is watching above.
“Chaos?”
Confused by this meaning, she holds onto her fathers hand tightly as she watches humans being human.
“The goddess to their end.”
The end of judgement day.
The stars have aligned and I discovered my purpose.. Ever since I can remember my energy has attracted people, pulling them into my contagious glow. My close friends would tell me, you need to help people, write a book, do something, but I never thought I could do it professionally. I pushed for other dreams and for other peoples dreams, but the fulfilment never stayed. I looked at my life again, paying attention to what made me light up inside. I made a step towards releasing my writing into the world, letting my words inspire others.
The Moment
Fire lives within these veins of melted gold. Feathers flicker in a serphantine dance. Yes, Earth angels exist. This joy comes from healing the bruised and fallen soldiers of life. Holding a Starbucks grande iced coffee with cream and classic sugar, I hold open a door for some passerby. I smile. Shades hide my almond eyes. Speaking of, I’m meant to be like an almond joy. One bite, and happiness expands outward as the sun explodes. A super nova. The ice cubes in my plastic concubine align as caffeine realization sparks my epiphany. Earth angels exist.
