Silent Whispers
Ahh! The delicious secret
the naked sin,
aroused skin and body
where silent whispers reside.
Secrets plunging deeply
from frolicking clouds,
breaths melting in drops
in silk coats of passion.
Shadows are lurking,
ghosts lingering,
gliding on tiny wings,
subterfuge of secrets,
silken camouflage.
We run naked
into harboring forest
finding our dark den
of forbidden iniquity.
I slip deeply into you
with my mind and body
making love in woods,
where no one listens.
Yearning echoes ring
in chambers of my heart.
Can you feel my want?
Currents of unmapped
desire emanate through
tortured spirits.
We depart orange wine sun
leaving forlorn messages,
forever love
inscribed in the sand,
unveiling the secret
we hide from the world
that both of us
belong to another.
Dying inside
Days when we strike our brother
With a look of hatred
For what cause
We are all mankind
Brothers and sisters
At our core
Should I hate
Because of social status
Born on the wrong side of the tracks
Political affiliation
We all die inside
When this happens
Brothers and sisters
I implore you
Come to a higher standard
LOVE
Ebony and Vanilla
I stand in vanilla breeze
in tide of satin cobalt splendor
tranquility molds to my essence
turquoise ripples kiss my toes.
Pock marks in cinnamon sand
traces left by sheltering rain
I dance on the drippings
embellished by the sun.
Soul steps out of my body
and becomes one with the sea
My mind cage opens,
robe of peace, mirror of life
reflecting echoes as
sleeping ghosts awaken,
swallow me whole.
I hide between the wisps
of a lost cloud,
offering solace.
Inky sea carries me
back to my darkness
footprints diverge
fog engulfs, vision wavers.
I taste the salt
on my tongue
cascading from rivers
of tears down my face
I can’t cry any more or
there will be no space
in the sea of my life.
Time undulates,
water pools in silence.
My eyes seek rest
from the tomb of peace
Sadness defeats
as I’m faced with my grief,
crawling toward
the engulfing aquamarine
I have once known
and the sun rays
of lingering hope.
Naked and Proud
One hundred brush strokes through my auburn hair
as wind whispers through my open arms, gliding
multicolored leaves of Autumn to forested carpet.
I stand naked and proud, exposed branches
for all to see, fingers shivering as they clutch
the last few flags of a forgotten summer.
Struggling vines hug my torso in last attempt
before the frigid fangs of winter take my toll.
I weep with the morning dew, saying farewell
to the glorious colors blanketing my feet
as I prepare for my long sleep before Spring
costumes me in green coat of memories past.

Does Power hold the World together - or hold it in bondage? Knowledge is there for those who seek. So, kiddies, riddle me this:
No wrong
No right
No black or white
The truth shaped
By the victor-
He the one that be the one
That came
That saw
That conquered
For whom the World
A shining pearl
Is held in hand completely
We march, lockstep, and bow our heads-
"vaynee, veedee, veechee"
But Fools and Braves know light of day-
Say,
"WAYNEE, WEEDEE, WEEKEE"
-DeRicki
a gold lettered plaque
above her bed
supported the words
"God bless this mess"
Either God is illiterate
or he doesn't exist
a ten pound crucifix
held in innocent hands
couldn't stop the demon
with the sour breath
you can try and blame the whiskey
you can try and blame the dope
when a father molests his daughter
where did the love of God go?
The Mau Mau
Oppressed and enslaved,
They wanted free from those tweed wearing
tea taxing,
Queen-loving
Brits.
for a better future.
They couldn't take it anymore
Slavery will end,
They vowed!!
So blacks with their spears,
Challenged whites who had guns,
To war,
For freedom.
This was it,
Freedom,
or
Death.
No running,
No turning back,
Blood shed,
Mourning,
Sorrow,
In the end,
Spears won.
Far Away
The feel of your hands
The taste of your kiss
The smell of your skin
I crave it all...
Never have I felt it
Indulged in the flavor
Or
Inhaled your
Euphoric aroma
Yet, its undeniably
Something that
I yearn for
I want it all...
These feelings you
Evoke are all I know
Are you near or far away
We may be strangers
Till we die
Fate decides
As we look up at
The same moon
Under the same sky
Near or far away
Your who I
Think about
Day after day
