The Seer
The Beginning
Dream.....Nightmare.............Surreality.
.....
"Welcome back. You left us twice. Do you remember anything?"
Who are you? Where am I?
"Can you tell me your name?"
Sleepy.
"It's okay. You don't have to say anything. You've had a rough few days. We found you in time and you're a fighter. Sleep now. You're safe."
I'm safe. Safe...from.....?
.....
"He's awake. Get the nurse."
Here again. Where is here?
"Wait for the nurse. She'll be-"
"-Right here. Tell me your name."
"Who...are you?"
"I'm the head nurse on the floor. What's your name?"
"Why? What's yours?"
The intern laughs and hurries out of the room. The head nurse storms out, "The bedpans in each of the rooms, now! There's nothing wrong with that child."
The intern runs away in tears.
.....
Several hours later, a child psychologist steps into the room. She picks up the chart at the foot of the bed, reads for a moment, then asks, "Has anyone bothered to feed you?"
"No."
The psychologist removes the restraints.
"Go use the restroom. I'll call the kitchen. If you could have anything to eat, what would it be?
.....
After a hearty meal, the boy burped. Laughter fills the hospital room.
The boy looks at the psychologist and allows, "Thank you, Alex, for sharing your meal with me."
Alejandra Montalvo was struck by the guess at her name.
"Water. Sleep. You woke up to your dad rocking you in his arms after he brought you back from the bottom of the pool."
"How-"
"I saw it. Just like I saw the waffles, strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream that we just ate. You had that with your dad after the pool."
"You couldn't possibly have known that. How-?"
"My name isn't John Doe, like it says in the file. It's Victor. Victor Paz. You won't find my family. I was given away."
Alex stepped out of the room, dazed.
.....
"I'm sorry."
"You didn't do anything wrong, sweetie. I was just surprised, that's all.
You can see the past. Can you see tomorrow? Or the day after?"
"No."
"Do you remember what happened to you? How you got here?"
"No."
.....
"The layperson knows it as selective amnesia. Whatever it is that happened to him is too much for him to handle at the moment. Given time and lots of care, he may recuperate his memory of the trauma. That's when the real work will begin."
"What's going to happen to him?" The head nurse asked from obligation. Victor terrified her by letting her know that he would tell about her adult toys and male slaves if she wasn't nicer. She was glad to see him go.
"We've found him a foster home and will continue therapy until he adjusts and is comfortable in his new environment."
.....
Alex rode with Victor to his new home. The two reached an understanding that they would keep his talent to themselves. After the initial meet and greet, Alex hugged Victor goodbye.
"Don't freak out the new family," she whispered. They laughed and cried. With the introduction of the new family, the dynamic between the two had to change. No more protective bubble. Victor knew he had to be careful.

Gretchen’s Gregarious Gang
Grateful Gretchen Gooding gives gifts graciously. Gratitude grows goodwill and grants great glee. Gretchen gave Gwen Grant a gaggle of geese. Gwen giggled and gave Gloria Gosling a glistening gecko. Gracie the gecko galloped gracefully to Garth’s , gulping garbage and gazing goofily at the green grass where goats were grazing. The goats gossiped about glowing goldfish and gargantuan gorillas gulping gallons of Gator-ade. The giddy gorillas glared at Gloria who was not gruff nor greedy and gladly gave Gus Goosefeather and the gang gorgeous grapes. Gloria goes goodbye, giving Gretchen, Gwen and Garth ghastly grapefruits growing from gardenias. The group gazed at grumpy gophers gambling with greedy groundhogs in the garden and gleefully gave them glittery gumdrops. “Goodness gracious," Gus gasped.
Alliterated alliterations alliterated as alliterations
Alliterative additions are always achievable, as all adequate authors agree, and almost any advice asserts; actually, awesome adjectives also add atmosphere and, after all, adjustable adjuncts are amazing, although, alternatively… Actual alliterations as "An able advertising artist approaches all accounts as above average. Amateurs aside, all ad-men are against amorphic attitudes. Advertise aimlessly and advertisements are arid. Advertise abstractly and advertisements abbreviate audiences. Albeit, advertise aggressively and adeptly and adapt as awesomely as an animal, and additional assets are again and again accumulated as an aftermath." are also actual. All actual alliterations are awesome, and all alliterations alliterate all alliterations. Alliterations are awesomely amazing and althemore achievable.
Alien Abduction
Apparently, Anna asked Andrew about alliterations. Although asleep, Andrew answered, "All astronauts ate applesauce." Anna, alongside Aunt Abigail, acknowledged Andrew's answer and applauded. Andrew awoke abruptly, appearing anxious and altogether alarmed.
Above awaited awesome aliens, affixed and analyzing an avocado. All aliens argued about avocados. After arguments alleviated, Aliens abducted Andrew and asked advice.
"Are all avocados asymmetrical?"
"Are all avocados appetizing?"
Andrew, audibly afraid and appalled, assessed Allen's antsy antennas. Approaching alien activity, Andrew attacked! Although anticlimactic, Andrew's attack annoyed Alien. Alien arrived again at Andrew's abode, abandoning awkward and antisocial Andrew. Ascending away, Alien announced, "Adios!"

SUNSET SUPPOSITIONS
She saw sunsets - sparkling skies singing sweet symphonies, serenading souls. She sighed. Such simplicity, such serendipity spoken so silently, so strongly.
Songs swam softly. Sibylline stars stretched seaward, stealing sadness, stealing sorrow, stealing suffering. She stared serenely. She saw serenity. She saw subtle symmetries sliding, swinging surreptitiously. She saw secrets swiftly slipping stealthily, separating spiteful storms.
Sometimes, she saw several scenarios simultaneously, saw sympathy sprouting stoically. Surely society shall succeed, shall surpass superfluous solidarity. Steadfast surveillance should soothe suspicions - so she solicits.
Solemnly, she stood straight, saluted Socrates' sagacity, saluted sentient sacredness. Somehow, society shall succeed - so she speculates.
Should she surmise something so shaky? Should she sanction systemic submission, subsidise servility shamelessly? Should she surrender satisfaction so swiftly? Seek sycophants? Slyly side swipe sobriety?
Shhh. Such stupid, sneaky suppositions. Stop. Stop subjugating suppression, she says. Stop shrouding snakes, stitching shadows, sheltering sin so stubbornly. Shirk savagery! Seek sangfroid! sensitive, subaqueous striations. Scintillating shimmers shall suffice.
Stalk Sigmund, she says. Study splendid sweet sparks, succulent sweethearts. Stargaze, sublimate saints. Sing songs, strum strings, show solicitude. Shine significantly. Secure sanguine smiles.
So, subsequently, society shall succeed. Surely, someday.
So she'll still see sunsets, still see sparkling skies singing sweet symphonies, serenading souls simplistically, silently, strongly.
