Make Me Guess who you Are!
Tell me about about an everyday object, food, an animal, or well-known character.
Don't tell me your name...make me guess who you are in a way even a 3rd grader could understand. It's even better if you make it a little rhyme-y / put some imperfect rhyme.
Ex: You can't live without me. From my head, I refresh you and make you clean. Sometimes I even make you sing! (Answer: a shower)
Ex: We are friends and see each other nearly every day of the year. I keep you safe & warm. We go on so many adventures together, and sometimes you even put me on a wild rollercoaster where I get soaking wet. Make sure I'm clean! (Answer: socks)

Simply Stated
“The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one’s real and one’s declared aims, one turns instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms.” ~George Orwell

In the spirit of being more concise, please inspire me. Submit your most creative entry USING ONLY SINGLE SYLLABLE WORDS. Any topic, any format. Bonus cool points if you can cleverly state your case for polysyllable superiority while adhering to the rule! :)
How You Are
You have 24 hours to write your exact feelings and emotions. Points for the most detail in the fewest words. (Fewer than 15 is okay just fill out the bottom with gibberish so your entry is accepted)

Our local library
Simply recommend a book or a story to all of us here greedy readers on Prose. A lot of amazing people on this page are left unnoticed, or lost in the gigantic sea of other authors. Those people often pour their hearts out in their stories and books, creating worlds that you want to sink in completely, and yet are being somehow left in the sidelines... So, if you read a book here on Prose that captivated you, and made everything around you slightly blur out for a little while... Share it with us! Post a link to a book or a short story that made you stay for longer, and add a few words about it. (I will start ;))

Idea Fragments
This is the place to either use or display your idea fragments. Poems, prose, short stories, books, essays, etc. Anything works! Just use some of the random pieces of ideas that you have collected. If you don't have inspiration to use your fragments, or you don't have time, or whatever it may be, but you are still interested in sharing some of your idea fragments, you can just share the little bits and pieces that you have laying around or compiled somewhere by listing them. You can use as many Idea fragments as you want or are able to. I'd love to see your snippets of thoughts, so tag me please! ( @MariAntoinette )

Advance a Word Into the Presses!
The only way that a new word can be added to the dictionary is if that word is already being used by a considerable group of people. This means that many useful, silly, or time-saving words are rejected from formal print. I invite my fellow writers to present a word that they believe should be considered for the dictionary (and how it is used), so that we may begin using these words in our own writing, spreading its use. I look forward to seeing what new vocabulary I may obtain through this challenge.

Shakespeare
Take one (or maybe, if you wish to, a couple) of your older pieces, and translate it into what would be considered Shakespearean language. I would say, try to pick a piece you enjoy a lot, so it will be easier to translate. Try to remember to tag me because I'm not the best at remembering to check for new posts. ( @MariAntoinette )

Romanticization
Romanticize someone/something. It can be a fictional character, the love of your life, your dog, yourself, the wall. If you need a fictional character to romanticize but can't choose, you can do multiple or you can romanticize Aoife Enchantress, a character of my creation. You'd have to look at my pinterest board or my story Enchantress though. If the winner chooses, they get a free (signed) copy of my book once it comes out.

Rite a short poim, flash fikshun storie, or smaull set of sentenses with spelleng misteaks... Sort of like the cows from Chick-Fil-A except a little more extreme. 57 words or less...
