Five facts
I am a Catholic and have been all my life. Call me a Jesus freak if you like; it’s what I am.
I greatly admire anyone who can make a good meal or turn bare land into a garden plot, but sadly I can’t say much for my own cooking and gardening skills.
I have never been to school in my life. Someone I know once said “all homeschooled people are stupid” but hopefully you can ascertain from this post that we are, in fact, not. Of course, it depends on your definition of stupidity :)
I love both dogs and cats, tea and coffee, sunrise and sunset
but
I have no great love for the city, and my heart lies either in the country or by the sea (I enjoy fishing for eels in a creek or squid off a jetty, but that doesn’t mean I actually catch them). Quiet, hidden places or wide spaces in which to lie and look up at the sky are often found in the countryside, and you will often find me in them, too; if not in person, in my dreams.
Who am I?
Hi, Riley_45. I hope you’re well. It’s nice to meet you. My name is enter suitable pseudonym here and I...
1) ...was born in 274. At the age of 17, a freak lightning strike threw me 68 years into the future. Now, every time it rains I jump forward in time again.
2) ...once saw a polar bear swim up to a Bridlington beach, rifle through a holidayer’s picnic basket then gallop away with the paper plates. To this day, I still don’t know why it left the smoked salmon and wedge of Swiss cheese.
3) ...was the inspiration for Batman. No, I don’t fight crime with a dubiously young male sidekick, nor do I speak in a gravelly voice. But I do have an extensive cavern system cut into the bedrock beneath my family mansion. (I tried to extend it to make room for a Batcopter, and the entire east wing collapsed into the space. Mamma was not pleased.)
4) ...will inevitably use the prompts around me to display my plethora of talents, none of which are sweet.
5) ...have been known to make things up to sound more interesting. After all, what’s so special about an overweight, forty-something man working - but enjoying - a thankless, clerical job with a fondness for dragons and cats and Pratchett? Who wants to know about the guy who’s excited by the supernatural but is too insensitive to have experienced a ghost?
6) ...am not good at maths.
intro
while aggrestively sarcastic
i am also actually very sweet
i prefer sunrises over sunsets
something about a new day for
new things and the fresh scent of
the morning makes me feel whole
i cannot wait to be a mother
as i love babies and am always told
how good of a mother i will be
i care too much about what others think
as well as their feelings, often putting
theirs before mine even if it makes me
unhappy
i too add garlic to every dish
there is no such thing
as too much garlic
Good Day!
Hello, you’ve just met a 14-year old “extroverted introvert” from the Philippines. You would always hear with me songs from the 50s to the 80s, but now you can hear me celebrating the U.S. election results with YouTube videos. Yes, I’m from the Philippines, but I also love history! I also love cars and ships, and I am currently drawing a map. Finally, I also don’t like to drink water while eating meals.
Eating and Shows
1) The quickest way to my heart is through my stomach. I like cheese and chocolate (NOT TOGETHER), salty foods, and brown sugar and cinnamon PopTarts. If I’m feeling up to it, I may even eat some broccoli. With cheese because everything is better with cheese.
2) Going off food, I think I like meat less. I mean, I enjoy red mean, but poultry [mainly chicken] is all starting to taste either dry or uncomfortably wet. It might just be the food at my school, but that’s my latest realization about myself. Granted, I would never be vegetarian because that implies that I eat vegetables and I don’t like to lie about arbitrary things, but I could easily subsist off of cookies and candy and quesadillas for a few months.
3) I love ASMR because I’ve always had that reflex, but never had words for it until now. There are classifications to it, and I like touching sounds (brush strokes, slime, hair petting, make up brushes, etc.). I won’t watch any other sounds; in fact, eating sounds nauseate me. I only watch two channels (Tingting ASMR and Myaling ASMR) because I like the way they make sounds and their voices are nice, but I think Serena Art is amazing too. I’d highly recommend all three of them.
4) I also really like YouTube drama. I don’t do much or have much interactions with dramatic people, so watching drama unfold and listening to other people unpack the drama in a moral, logical, psychological, and/or historical way is fun for me. Because of that, I watch channels like The Right Opinion (love his accent), helloleesh, Smokey Glow, and D’AngeloWallace, among others.
5) I’m really boring. I say this a lot ot new people that never seem to believe me, but my day literally consists of waking up, forcing myself to do school, eating/cooking food, watching YouTube/TV, occasionally writing short stories and/or bad poetry, and collecting useless history facts that I’m going to eventually Frankenstein into curriculum for a history class.
